Love shopping here online and at their warehouse in Cypress. Never had any problems and always get friendly and prompt service.
Went in the other day to pick up and order. Not only was I taken care of professional but everyone was extremely courteous and more importantly prompt. No waiting around like in other music stores for someone to decide when they are not busy to come and help. Someone was with me asking if I needed help within a minute.
Additionally they are helping my small business out with a corporate account. Looks like PSSL now has all of my business. Keep up the good work!

Meh. Stared buying from PSSL many years ago. Things have definitely gone downhill. They are consistently unresponsive to emails and internet inquiries. As a long-​term repeat customer, being treated like I don’t matter means I take my business elsewhere, like Amazon, KPODJ, Musician’s Friend, etc. And I have to say, I’ve spent a TON of money on lighting the last few years buying from their competitors.
Way to shoot yourselves in the foot, ProSound.

I use to shop at Guitar Center but they rarely had what I needed and not too many options on display… I love this place… Multiple lighting fixtures in display not to mention different mixers to test and play around with… Friendly staff who are knowledgeable on the products they sell…

Man. What a weird store.
I got in, looked around, played with a couple displays. Cool, they’re leaving me alone, I appreciate that. I got bored and asked a guy about headphones (the reason I came). He pointed across the room and said «over there on the bottom» as if it were helpful. I found a few sets that were just on a bottom shelf, so I went back and asked if they had more (a pair listed online). He told me «an associate might be able to help» me. I find a guy willing to help, he finds the product and I agree to buy. He asks for all my info, I tell him I’d rather just pay and leave. Not and option, apparently, so I had to come up with a fake name, address and phone number on the spot. What a hassle. After that, this older lady comes up and tells me she needs my receipt. I ask why. She doesn’t acknowledge me, she just grabs it out of my hand and walks away. The clerk chuckles, looks apologetically and says «she’s going to go bring your order up to the front.»
It was a small purchase, but buy a lot of high end audio equipment. I won’t go back.

Since my review, Nich S. has reached out and addressed my concerns. He took the time to point out in PSSL policy that price matching does not apply to PSSL. It only applies to other companies offering the same exact in-​stock product. Regardless, he was very professional and cordial and took the time to respond to my concerns. I appreciate it immensely and glad it all worked out.

Buyer beware!!! The prices are fair, but ALWAYS check your purchase before you leave. For some reason they always have broken or messed up products. Has happened to me almost every time. Sorry for those who have them ship out. Like I said buyer BEWARE!!!

Horrible Experience!!!
This company lacks professionalism. I was a first time customer and now I am a dissatisfied customer who will never do business with them again. The way they conduct business is very disappointing especially with regard to the poor quality of customer service they deliver.
Immediately after placing my order I began to encounter issues. 4 weeks later, everything finally got resolved. It should not have taken this long to correct an issue. What frustrated me the most was not getting a follow up call, as promised, by my sales rep Robert which occurred at least 5 times different times. Furthermore, ALL of my email correspondence to Robert went completely ignored, not once did I receive a response.
I spent close to $ 900 on my entire purchase for an array of products. My sales rep sold me a wrong product and refused to send me a return-​shipping label, so I was held responsible for paying the shipping cost for his mistake. A separate issue was when I received a defective speaker, which I returned right away and experienced a long delay in receiving my refund. There was so much useless back and forth for several weeks that I finally had to open a charge back claim request with my credit card company, which was a huge inconvenience.
Save yourself the trouble, don’t deal with these people!!! I tried voicing my complaints to an office manager, but I was turned down … the staff cover up for each other which is why I had to draft up and mail in a complaint letter, another inconvenience. This company has no structure.

I will never order online from PSSL again. I ordered on June 28, 2015 (2) QSC K12 speakers that came with the free tote bags. It was a great deal so I made the order. Expected delivery was July 3^rd. When I opened the boxes the speakers were dented. Because the damage was done in shipping they have to file a damage claim that can take up to 8 days and UPS must pickup the speakers at the location. I waited all day and the UPS driver showed up at 6pm which killed my entire day. On top of that PSSL said I could have my new speakers in about 13 days. Are you serious? I just had the worst experience with your company and you wanna make it worse. On top of that my sales rep and customer service rep seeked no alternatives to make me happy. All they said was sorry and we can take care of you on the next sale. I am not going to be making that sale and I am done with PSSL. I rather go to a local dealer and get my speakers.

I used to buy A lot from this company … they advertise that they do PRICE MATCH I showed them A GC receipt to honor the PRICE MATCH… But until Then they wouldn’t instead they offer me expensive price … I’m really dis appointed why would to that to the old customer, there something wrong with the management !!! … I will not buy from this company ever AGAIN… I’m not deserve to be treated Liked this … the funny thing is they claimed that they are the BEST DJ Store in the whole world HAHAHAHAHA… and yet they don’t know how to take care of there customer …

Tried placing my 1^st online order with them and had repeated delays due to my «card info not matching up.» After two weeks of useless back and forth I decided to use my personal credit card and all SEEMED well. I live in Hawaii and so what was advertised as FREE shipping soon became over $ 100 for shipping. I figured it would at least mean that my order would be shipping quickly and so I proceeded to place the order. Once again, it appeared to have gone fine and was supposedly shipped out ⁶⁄₂₃. I was given no USPS tracking number and didn’t receive any tracking until after the 2^nd time I bugged their customer service via their Contact Us page. I was given two USPS tracking numbers, one that has yet to be checked in by USPS and another that shows no movement as of ⁶⁄₂₇. I have ZERO faith in this company and I am currently trying to get my money back. After paying $ 100 for shipping you’d think I’d be treated half decent but it seems this company doesn’t give two shits about me. I’ll make sure that no one I know does business with this company.

Would like to thank the staff at PSSL including Sean for their professionalism and helpfulness. I bought a pioneer ddj-​sz today and they helped me out so much.

Prosound was meant to cater more towards live djs and live performance artists but I catch a few good deals on some studio equipments here. I’ve bought a recording mic, a 16 track mixer and an acai mpc here all at affordable rates. The quality is so good when I did decided to resell my 16 track mixer I got a solid return on it from my buyer.
They have lots and lots of equipments here; mixers, drum machines, guitars, speakers, etc… Everything is located in its own section of the store. As you enter you immediatetly notice the mixers with newbie producers flocking the area. Move a little further and you see the drum machines they got lined up. Their speaker section is my favorite. I’ve been wanting to buy a set of Mackie speakers but I’m patiently awaiting for that right deal.
I didn’t see too much software from this place but I could be wrong. They have just the basics but not a whole lot of plugins which I was really after. Then again, I don’t really go to Prosounds for the digital stuff.
Customer service is tops here. Everyone is knowledgeable. I had questions and concerns when I had inquired about the Mackie speakers and they really provided me the info I needed to make sure that 1. I can use it and set it up properly and 2. how I can get the crisp sound and what is right for me so I don’t go wasting top dollars. Awesome stuff guys. I’m a loyal customer for life.

I had a not so excellent experience with one specific order.
My order for a headphone case was placed at 7:44 AM Pacific time on February 19 2015 and the charge appeared in my online credit union statement a few hours later. I opted to pick it up in the store in Cypress, CA to save on shipping and because I am local to the area. The email confirmation stated that the Guaranteed ready for pickup date was also February 19 2015, bot no notification was sent to me either via phonecall or email that the order was ready (was willing to drop by the store anytime before 6PM when they close to pick this item up). I had to call in and get a status update the following day.
Jeff Costello called me back a few minutes later to confirm that the order is now ready for pickup, but it’s a bit unfortunate that the Guaranteed ready for pickup date was not reached. Although PSSL excels in many respects regarding their selection and pricing for some of their daily deals, I will think twice about turning to them for items that I need in a hurry, which was the case this time around.
Update 2÷20÷15 4:00 PM Pacific time: I spoke with both Nick and Jeffrey from PSSL, and they were appreciative of my feedback. They have already taken measures to ensure that issues of this sort are minimized for subsequent store pickups. I was pleased to hear their feedback and updated my rating accordingly, and they treated me with utmost respect despite my initial criticisms regarding this order. Based on this new information and experience, I would be happy to refer others to use this store and utilize this store pickup option is convenient for them.

Wow, these guys gave me great deals and when something did wrong with a speaker, they were right on it and took care of everything. Terrific prices, daily killer deals, great customer service and really nice dudes!

I’ve been shopping from these guys since they were located on Garden Grove Blvd/​Magnolia back in the day. For some reason, I feel like their current showroom is smaller than the GG one, even though the building is much larger (now an industrial/​office building versus the smaller retail/​office building they used to be in). Most of the building is office and warehouse, I guess.
The showroom is a much truncated version of the stuff they sell and I wasn’t impressed with the limited items they had on display. A lot of items they have on their website weren’t in stock, so I basically wasted a trip there.
I don’t understand why they don’t open on the weekends, or at least Saturdays. They close at 6:30 on weekdays (but they tell you to arrive before 6:15 because they want to close up) and it’s not easy for us working folks to make it there before 6:30.
I sent a few emails to C.S. via their website but never got any responses. They may need to work on customer service a bit.
If you want to order from them, it’s probably better to just order online.

Great customer service. Moises helped me out with my purchase. I got 2 traktor pro 2 vinyls, the only place that had them in Stock. Moises was super cool! He let me know about different products I was looking for (other vinyls, headphones, speaker brands) and even through in a free gift! A dope ass duffle bag! I’m pleased with my purchase and thankful that I ran into moises. I even ordered the wrong color vinyls and he was still cool about it. I’ll be definitely coming back for more gear.

This place is TOTALLY AWESOME for those of you into this sort of thing and that would be me… sort of!
I met my friend D here because he wanted to buy some new speakers since one of his died a while back. I had NO IDEA what kind of place this was but I’ve seen it a thousand plus times driving by, but NEVER gave it any thought!
This place is for anyone that is into production type things and are in need of lighting, auto and music because they sale those things and speakers, subwoofers, lighting boards, switchers, turn tables for DJ, etc.
When we walked in the lady behind the desk greeted us right away with a smile! I think she is the ONLY female working here! You walk through a small entry that has a few display sale items in it and through glass double doors into the showroom!
They are mainly a catalog type place and so more shipments to customers so the showroom is NOT SUPER BIG! Every guy in there is SUPER DUER HELPFUL and KNOWLEDGEABLE! Jeffery quickly saw us as we walked in and came over to say hello and assist! They are SO ON IT at this store!
D asked a few question while I wondered around like his little chick-​side-​kick because for the most part I was out of my element when it came to the speakers and subwoofers. I know about cameras, and some about lighting, auto and switch boards but the rest of this stuff like mics are out of my element. I know how they work but I’m far from being your 411 contact person.
Jeffery was UBER PATIENT and had answers for all D’s questions and he asked probing type questions to see what type of equipment D was currently using to make sure he was getting to correct item to work with what he already has! Jeffery also asked what he was trying to do and the direction D was wanting to go in. Again it was all in an effort to get D the right item he was looking for.
I also liked that they ARE NOT PUSHY SALES people either! They let you take the time to make a decision and once you decision is made they let you know that you have 30 days to bring back the item if you’re NOT COMPLETELY HAPPY! I’m sure you need a receipt to return items seeing as some of the things here cost about as much as a down payment on a Ford Focus! GOODNIGHT IRENE who knew!
They also have a FREE rotating led light with check in so thanks to me and my trusty Unilocal app he got a little something extra! He can figure out what he wants to do with it later!
There is PLENTY of parking but this place IS NOT OPEN on the weekends. Hours are Monday — Friday 10am to 6:30pm. They just extended their hours by 30 minutes so hopefully you can get over here in time.
If you’re in the bid-​ness and in need this might be your place! They also are on hand at the NAB-​fest to help out all the vendors of the brands they sale which is UBER COOL, because anyone associated with the NAB-​fest has to be BOMB!

This is my go to location when I need something for a show. It is a small showroom but they have everything in stock in the warehouse, and they can hook you up in no time. You will get a lot bigger selection of pro gear here than at the local Guitar Center or Sam Ash.
For example, I stopped in one recent afternoon and picked up gaffers tape, some O clamps, patch cables, a power supply and a mirror ball motor and was out of there in 10 minutes.
Their prices are competitive, as they should be in the internet age!
Their employees are helpful, but it is better to come in knowing exactly what you need because there are so many choices. Check their hours before heading over, as they are not open late.

This is my first place to get anything for the several night clubs i work with. Ii you are ordering over the phone, MATT CHRISTOPHERSON is the guy to talk with, he knows his shit and well hook it up. If your walking into the showroom, talk to MIKE TURNER, both are great and always help me with any questions, and have even recommended new products i would never even think about buying.
BE AWARE, they close at 6PM so if you need to «stop in for something, do it early in the day.
