Our practice specializes in multiple types of surgical procedures:

The removal of wisdom teeth and any other tooth indicated for extraction.

Surgical placement of dental implants.

Exposure of impacted teeth for orthodontic treatment

Treatment of bone and soft tissue pathology, including biopsies for the diagnosis

Facial trauma including jaw fractures and injuries to teeth

IV sedation available for all procedures

Surgeries in the hospital when indicated

History

Established in 1990.

Dr. Smith graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX and then completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Heath Science Center in Houston. This practice began in 1990 in the Cy-​Fair area on a part-​time basis, but was principally located in the Texas Medical Center area. We moved to the North Cypress Medical Center in 1997 when the first professional building opened and we are now here full time. Dr. Smith is on the medical staff at North Cypress Medical Center as well as Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.

Business Owner

Dr. Bruce Smith is a board certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who has been practicing in the Cy-​Fair area since 1990. He completed his undergraduate education at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. After serving five years on active duty as a shipboard Surface Warfare Officer, he entered Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Smith graduated #1 in his class in 1986, and then completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He then began private practice in the Texas Medical Center, with a part-​time practice near Cy-​Fair Hospital. He and his staff moved to the North Cypress Medical Center Professional Building in 2007. Dr. Smith is also a Clinical Associate Professor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry, working with the dental students and residents on Tuesday afternoons.
