History

Established in 1978.

I was trained as an apprentice wallpaper hanger in 1978 at Color Craft in Houston TX. where three other women and I hung paper for high-​end custom home builders and in residential and commercial settings as well. I went off on my own in 1982. In the past few decades I have worked for designers, builders, contractors, home owners, small businesses and on large commercial jobs.

Being an artist since I was young, I decided to add ‘hand-​painted” murals to my resume in 1995. A few years later I began doing specialty wall finishes such a Faux Venetian Plaster, and the original torn paper. I have gorgeously transformed many baby nurseries, kid’s rooms, art niches, dining rooms, and professional offices into wall size works of art.

I decided to join the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers (now the WIA) in 2014. This organization gives Paperhangers a source of constantly updated education which is not found anywhere else.
