My amazingly beautiful wife Briana and I were very satisfied with our experience with Your Day Of. When we began planning our wedding, a coordinator was our last priority. Luckily we met with Karene and quickly realized how many details we hadn’t considered, from laying out the room to reduce glare from sun in our pictures, to how every thing was getting to the venue. Her pre day-​of input was as valuable as what she did at the wedding itself. Anyone thinking about coordinating their own wedding, or having a family member loosely manage the day of should strongly reconsider. Karene is professional and methodical, and it showed in how flawlessly (or so it seemed as we didn’t fret any issue) the day went by. Would highly recommend

Besides marrying my husband (seriously, he’s hot), hiring Karene was one of the best decisions I have ever made. After I got engaged, I buckled down for the task of planning a wedding. Soon after, I realized I was way in over my head. I decided to have an initial meeting with Karene to discuss whether having a day of coordinator was necessary or just «a nice thing to have.» We discussed many details about what goes into planning, but one detail in particular stood out to me, and made me decide to hire her. She told me that neither the bride/​groom nor their entire family should have to worry about a single detail on the wedding day. Mom shouldn’t be on the phone with the florist while dad sets up tables and chairs and the bride runs around frantically barking orders at the vendors. That is her job. That is the bride, groom, and their family’s day to enjoy, soak in, and make memories. You only get to do this day once. I can genuinely say that, thanks to Karene, I was able to do just that. It was sincerely the best day of our lives and we often talk about how much we wish we could re-​live that day. In giving advice to a newly engaged couple, I would say, make hiring a day of coordinator your TOP priority. Do yourself one better, pick Karene :)

Karene is a great coordinator, very confident and is comfortable taking charge in a group. I highly recommend her to help plan your wedding!

I was a bridesmaid in one of the weddings Karene coordinated, and I was very impressed. She was professional yet friendly, and she was extremely helpful to the bride but not at all controlling or bossy. I noticed that when the bride was making decisions during the rehearsal, Karene’s opinion was very valued by the bride, yet the bride also seemed free and comfortable to make it her own. The bride had a gorgeous wedding (the best I’ve ever been to) and everything went very smoothly, so I’m sure Karene was a big part of that.

Karene is one of the most organized people I’ve ever met. She thinks of and plans for every detail. I was involved in a wedding with her and she had every second of it scheduled to a T. She also had all volunteer helpers organized and working like a team. I’d recommend her to every bride I know!

Absolutely the best decision I made, hiring Your Day Of wedding coordinator Karene Kobel. She thought of everything and was the perfect negotiator when differences of opinions threatened to spoil our day. She is poised, efficient, practically invisible and yet on top of everything. My wedding reception at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott is still favorably talked about as being one of the most beautiful and elegant weddings people in my circle have ever been to. I attribute that to Karene’s behind the scenes work with the hotel reception coordinator, DJ, photographer and all of the other service staff. I didn’t worry or feel stressed the entire day. It was the best day of my life. My groom was very nervous. He’s not comfortable being the center of attention because he is so shy. Karene got him laughing and kept his spirits up during the long morning wait until he could see me walk down the aisle. He told me later he was so glad we hired her.

Karene was an amazing coordinator for our wedding last fall. I highly recommend hiring her! She made us think about things that we wouldn’t have thought of until it would have been too late and too stressful. She removed so much stress from our planning! She took pictures of our decoration ideas and executed them perfectly the day of. She also has lots of helpful forms to fill out about scheduling and where things go to make the whole event run so much smoother. We are so happy we hired her. It was one of the best wedding decisions we made.

Karene was fabulous! I planned my wedding from scratch in 3 months and I am so glad that I hired Karene to help. She brought up things that I never would have thought of and helped me sort out the final stages of planning so that things would run smoothly. At the wedding she was so extremely awesome!!! I didn’t have a single stressful moment because she took care of EVERYTHING. All I remember about our wedding day is having an absolute ball. Our guests also loved her! She is super fun and great to work with! I would recommend her to everyone!!!

I am SO glad I asked Karene to be in charge the day of my wedding! I really wanted to plan and get everything together myself but I knew that on the special day I did not want to do anything– so I asked my very best friends older sister to help me and coordinate everything. Karene was amazing! Just like I knew she would be. She is great with details and arranged everything exactly how I envisioned. She was instrumental in making sure we stuck to our strict timeline because our venue was a public park that closed early. She is a great party planner and it is such a relief to not have to worry about anything YOUR DAY OF!
