V Boutique

I took some friends here and was really impressed with the set-​up of this retail store. The clothes are affordable and they also sell emoji pillows. This is great for kids.

Let me first start off by saying that I usually don’t shop at boutiques. The obvious reasons are that they’re usually way out of my price range and that I’m a little bit on the larger side. HOWEVER, none of that was a problem when I went to V Boutique!
The grand opening is tomorrow, April 18, 2015. I just so happened to be driving by from the movie theater with a friend & saw a few people inside so I figured I’d go ahead and pop in. I wasn’t mentally prepared for all of the cute, chic, & edgy clothing articles I was about to encounter! I took a quick look around & figured I’d go home and calculate how much I could spend (LOL…).
I came back the next day (April 17, 2015) since they had their ribbon cutting/​soft opening & was more mentally prepared for what I was about to venture into. As soon as I walked in I was given a warm welcoming from the owner of the store & the entire staff. The owner, Kathy, had asked me if there was anything in particular I was looking for and that she was willing to take recommendations on items that I’d be interested in for future sales. I could tell she really loved anything fashion related & was sincere about giving her customers reasonable prices for fine quality clothing.
I walked out with about 4 blouses & a pair of sunglasses. She had a promotional sale of 30% off on soft opening/​opening day & +5% off discounts if you check-​in on Facebook! The total rang up to be about $ 140ish dollars and with the discount I paid $ 105! Coming from New Orleans, for those same items I probably would have paid $ 200+ just shopping at boutiques off of Magazine St. What was exciting about the purchase was not only did I finally find really cute clothes for this seasonal transition but I was also given a cute V Boutique beach bag for spending $ 100 & entered in to a raffle contest for Ariana Grande concert tickets! If you spend $ 50 you get this cute V necklace with your purchase!
Other than clothes, they have these really cute emoji pillows. I want ALL OF THEM. They’re sooooo adorable & soft! They have them in the display case & all around the dressing room! Definitely makes for a really fun experience. Just looking at them made me happy! & they also have these Korean face masks for $ 3/​pack. That’s a fair & competitive price for Korean face packs in Houston/​Atlanta!
& speaking of the dressing room… LOVE IT. There’s a cute lounge area with a variety of shoes set up around! The sofa is super comfortable & is good for friends/​boyfriends to sit at while they wait for you to try on your clothes. But more importantly, the dressing rooms are super well-​lit. I usually get hot changing between so many different articles of clothing, but I wasn’t bothered at all. There’s enough hanger space, the mirror is huge, & the chair inside is gorgeous… adding more emoji pillows on top making the atmosphere of the changing room even more pleasant!
I definitely will be back sooner than later! I finally found a place to buy clothes that doesn’t stress me out!
