History
Established in 1980.
Above Grade Level, in home tutoring started over 35 years ago and was developed by a team of professors and executive’s from the text book industry. The plans we put in place, guarantee success. We specialize in math and reading but offer an array of services including SAT/ACT test prep. At Above Grade Level, we are specifically interested in empowering others and believe that all students can learn. Tutoring is very different than the classroom, it is the place where learning is defined. Our goal is to engage and motivate our students by implementing plans, skills and individual approach coupled with compliancy. We customize plans for each student that will work to clarify and elevate their understanding.

Passionate about education, Kelley J. Laird re-evaluated her career path after coming home to be a stay at home mom for her twin boys when they were two. The education system has changed so much in the course of the past ten years and when Kelley set out to redefine her skill set, she found that consulting with parents and helping to define and address the struggles their children face as students gives her the drive for educational services. At Above Grade Level, we offer services for K-12, specializing in all math and reading services. Some of our most popular programs are ESOL Early Literacy, Reading Comprehension, Writing, High School, Middle School Math, all levels, Physics and Chem. We take the time to individualize a plan just for you! You will find Kelley answering the phone and taking the time to speak with you in depth about your child, struggling or gifted. Above Grade Level offers a free assessment and Kelley will consult with you to develop the best plan for your child.
