I’m very happy with the care I’ve received at Active Healthcare. I had a really bad ankle sprain from training for the Hot Chocolate Race in Atlanta. I pushed too fast too soon. Anyway, we are new to the area and I’ve gone to one chiropractor for years and had a hard time finding a group I love as much as my last. Well this office far exceeded my expectations. The program really works. I have fibromyalgia and, my daughter and I were both treated for our ankles n hip issues. I started in February and could barely walk and now in April I’m back to hiking and playing with my kids! Im my usual aches n pains are minimal.
Gabrielle, the massage therapist is Awesome! She’s very considerate and kind and really good at her job! All the therapist are good but she’s my favorite! Victoria is good about not double booking so it’s a rarity to have a wait when you arrive. Don’t bother doing the paperwork online, go pick the packet up ahead of time, if u can because there’s a lot of paperwork on your first visit. Dr. Pendergast, dr P for short, is respectful and knowledgeable. He explains what is needed and why it’s needed very clearly. Dr. Human is also a good Dr., and has very kind and gentle nurse. And I plan on making this my go to office. Hope I don’t have to go often, but glad to have them when need them.

I knew this was the place for me when I walked in. The staff was very nice and helped me understand the paperwork I was filling out. I saw Dr. Human and felt very comfortable that he had a good understanding of the pain I was experiencing. He spent a good 20 – 30 minutes discussing my injury and treatment options. He answered all of my questions and put me at ease that I was making a good decision about my chosen treatment. Having been to a lot of doctors and this guy is the real deal. I feel like I have a solid understanding of my issue and reasonable expectation of my recovery. I appreciate Dr. Human’s approach. And he didn’t just say «stop doing Crossfit.» He gave me options and alternatives to my workouts that meet my fitness needs and encouraged me to listen to my body which is what we ALL need to do. I definitely recommend Active Healthcare to anyone who truly wants to understand all of their healthcare options.
