I went here because of the great reviews but was highly disappointed. When first dropping my car off, with my grandma, the man acted nice, and said there would be an $ 85 fee to check why my check engine light was on, which was fine because that money could then be applied to any repairs done. 3 days later he finally calls and says that the repairs will cost $ 2500, so because my car is not worth that much he tells my father that I may pick up my car before 2 as it was a Saturday and that was when he closed on Saturdays. My friend dropped me off at the shop at noon to get my car, and when I went inside to pay off the fee and get my keys, the man was confused to my being there. He then tells me that the total is $ 170, adding an $ 85 fee just to check me out, which he had not mentioned before, but claimed he did and got onto me for even questioning him. I told him I wanted to call my father to make sure that was okay, he started raising his voice at me and said «you are lucky I am even helping you, I don’t even have to give you your car back.» I told him, I am sorry I just want to make sure it was okay to get my car back because my father thought it would only be $ 85, and this is when it really started going bad. I kindly asked for a receipt for the things he found wrong with my car so I could see how the total added up to $ 2500, and so I could know what exactly was wrong with my car. He was very annoyed by my request, and I had to plead with him just to do me this one favour. Do I not have this right already to these details? The place was very overpriced, as he wanted to charge a labor fee of $ 85 per brake pad, which did not include the price of the brake pads, which were $ 65 each. The guy then started raising his voice at me and saying «this is what happens when people don’t take care of their cars» and after he said this about three time I finally said «could you please stop telling me that I don’t take care of my car» and he was like, I didn’t say that, I said «people.» Clearly he meant me. I do take very good care of my car, but have been out of the country for a year while other people borrowed it and do not appreciate when people accuse me of not taking care, especially in such a rude tone. He raised his voice at me repeatedly during the transaction, WHICH TOOK 20 MINUTES, and most the time he spent complaining to me and making very SNARKY comments, including «we aren’t all born with a silver spoon,» which when I asked him what he meant he quickly pretended like he did not say. He does not know me and had no place to say any of those things to me. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE OR SEND YOUR STUDENTS HERE. THIS MAN FAKES POLITENESS BUT SHOWED HIS TRUE RUDE AND INAPPROPRIATE COLOURS TO ME. NO GROWN MAN SHOULD TREAT ANY YOUNG GIRL IN THE MANNER THAT HE TREATED ME. I LEFT HIS SHOP EXTREMELY OFFENDED AND OVERALL HURT BY THE WAY HE TALKED TO ME AND THE COMMENTS HE MADE TO ME. I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW UNPLEASANT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS.

My wife and I were so thankful to find this shop. If you are a parent of a college student at North Ga College and your kid needs a repair please call Nathan and he will take care if you. My daughter’s car needed work and couldn’t be driven. I took a day off from work and drove 2 hours to shop for a mechanic. I looked and saw this shop had great reviews so I paid Nathan a visit. I could tell he was the kind of guy I wanted to do business with. He had a tow truck on site and went with me to pick up the vehicle. The car was fixed within 1 hour and what may have cost me $ 700 and a new part at the Toyota dealer ended up costing just the diagnostic fee of 75 $ plus towing. I was thrilled and my daughter was in her way. Nathan and his wife were so friendly and personable and parents of a college age son. They told my daughter if she ever needed anything to call him directly at any hour. It gives me peace of mind to know he is that kind of a person that will look after my kid so I don’t have to drive 2 hours and take another day off. Please bring your business to Nathan. You will be glad that you did.
