I was ripped off over $ 200 by these people. I describe the problem I was having with my furnace in the man guaranteed me over and over that a new gas valve would fix the issue. The first thing I did was replace the circuitboard and guess what the furnace works just fine. Not only did he rip me off he gave me false information and refused to give my money back. Very dissed honest people

I’ve been buying appliance parts from ATAM for now longer than I can remember. They are truly a lesson to be learned for other small businesses. First class customer service in all regards. If they don’t have your part in stock, they will either have it that afternoon and if unavailable they’ll tell you who has it. I’ve saved probably thousands of dollars over the years thanks to them.

We came here looking for a replacement glass top for our cooktop stove that had been cracked. The lady checked and told us that they had the part and was ready to install it the next day but it would cost $ 302. Very pricey! She suggested that we might as well get a new stovetop since this part was almost the cost of a new stove. Very nice lady. Told us the truth and did not push us into buying parts and services from them. Who could ask for better? Great place to get parts. Will definitely be back again.

As it’s been stated by numerous reviews ahead of mine, these people have everything you could possibly need. I’m still amazed that they actually have that random little part that I need. Out of about ten times I’ve needed something from them, the only time he didn’t have what I needed was an electrical breaker, but even still, he told me where to go and get it.
The people here are very knowledgable and professional. Never disappointed in doing business with them. I’m assuming the man at the front is Adam.

These folks are the best. I have saved over $ 2500.00 by patronizing ATAM. I have been in Dallas since 1994 and have used these fine people whenever I needed. They always start out with the least expensive part and work up from there as needed, to solve your problem. The only service man I ever call is my A/​C guy. Everything else gets fixed by Adam and me!!! They are the best bar none. Thank god they are here. Keep up the great work folks.

These guys are great. I had a washing machine quit working last night. Had a repair company out that tried 2 different parts and that didnt work. Then they told me it must be the circuit board. I told them to forget it, I would just buy a new washer. Paid them their service call and went to home depot and ordered $ 2150 washer a drier. Then I figured I would call ATAM. Long story short, i fixed the washer with about 2 inches of electrical tape. Unbelievable. I will be buying the $ 10 hose from ATAM and I just cancelled my HD order. I also left a message for the repair company and gave them ATAM’s number!

I know this sounds repetitous to all previous reviews, but if you are the least bit handy and you can take simple directions, you can save a lot by getting your own parts from Adam the Answerman. Bring your part in or call them with brand and model number and they will tell you what you need and give you helpful hints on the install. We moved into our north Dallas home in 1997 and I have repaired a washing machine, icemaker, dishwasher and other items I can’t remember. My brother in law who is much handier than myself has also used and thinks what they do is so cool. Most appliances are pretty easy to fix, you just have to know how to open the machine and what part you need and sometimes, patience.

With the help of Adam, I have repaired my washing machine, dryer, A/​C blower, A/​C compressor fan, refrigerator, oven, and hot water heater. They know everything and can tell you how to fix the problem, often over the phone! It’s quite a drive from my house in Frisco, but considering the thousands they’ve saved me in labor charges, it is well worth it.

I have to agree with the reviews I have seen. Adam The Answerman has talked me through many repairs. I feel silly calling back with strange questions when I don’t understand how these appliances work but they are always willing to help me find the right part to make an otherwise expensive repair simple. And it feels good to do it yourself and avoid a hefty «service charge».

I can’t say enough good stuff about Adam the Answer Man. Really it’s the lady that answers the phone that is the genius. She has told me how to fix just about everything in my house. I even replaced the tumblers in my dryer when it started sounding like it had tennis shoes in it. She made it easy.
My husband traveled and repairmen are so expensive. I don’t know what I would have done with out them. I’ve been calling them for 20 years.
Last month my refridgerator went out. She told me how to check to see what was out. How to remove the part. Sold me the new part and told me how to replace it. I thought I was going to have to get a new fridge. But, nope, Adam the Answer man to the rescue. I love them.

Adam the Answerman is a great place to turn for electrical parts that you do not want to have to get from the manufacturer or may not be able to get other places. They can also give you advice on how to determine what your problem might be, and if parts are even needed. They are honest and dependable. They understand that if they help you out with free advice, you are going to turn to them for help the next time, and that time might produce a profitable one for them.

I have called on Adam the Answerman a few times when I was having appliance problems. (Ice Maker issue, Gas Oven that would’nt ignite, Dryer that made Gawd Awefull noise, and such). The people at ATAM know their stuff. If you can provide them with the appliance brand, model number, they can help you with the parts needed to repair, and the instructions on how to do the repair. I have saved BooKoos of bucks using them. They have walked me through the whole process of each project, and if I didnt have all the information they needed, I could just bring the part in and they would match it for me. The only appliance they won’t help with is microwave ovens. (I would’nt want to trust that job to an amature anyway). I highly recommend them for homeowners.
