History
Established in 1983.
This periodontal/dental implant practice was first established in 1983 by Dr. Patricia L. Blanton, who has led a distinguished career in periodontics and in the dental political arena, including several appointments with the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, American College of Dentistry, and Dallas County Dental Society. Dr. Blanton has passed the baton of her private practice to Dr. Aline G. Speer, who is a summa cum laude graduate from dental school, and had her specialty and master degree completed at University of Texas, Dental School at Houston. Dr. Speer is a clinical professor at Baylor College of Dentistry and she is honored to give continuity to the quality care Dr. Blanton has provided to her patients in the last 28 years.

Dr. Speer is a Diplomate, Board Certified Periodontist, practicing the full scope in the specialty. She also serves as a clinical professor in the department of periodontics at Texas A&M University, Baylor College of Dentistry, in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Speer graduated summa cum laude and class valedictorian from dental school and obtained her Periodontology Certificate and Master of Sciences Degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center, School of Dentistry at Houston, TX. Dr. Speer takes pleasure in dental research, with her main interests focused on periodontal regenerative procedures, dental implants, and the interrelationship between periodontal disease and systemic diseases. Dr. Speer has several articles published, including in the high impact international Journal of Periodontal Research and has lectured nationally and internationally.
She is an active member of the International Team of Implantology (ITI), Texas Dental Association and American Dental Association.
