Unfortunately, they are a company that is more interested in collecting money than having good customer service. Of course, the problem is that you probably won’t see this review until you also are looking to give them a bad review.

I was able to cancel from paypal and they automatically cancelled it. Yay. easy cancellation.

Full disclosure — I work with Shannon M. who wrote the previous review. All You Can Books is of little to no value, as noted in previous reviews. When you try to cancel via their website, you are redirected to a site titled «CancelWizard», who then want to charge $ 15 or more to process your cancellation from All You Can Books. You cannot directly cancel your All You Can Books account online without being redirected to CancelWizard. CancelWizard claims to be a separate company providing a separate service. WRONG! The two entities share the same physical address. And CancelWizard claims to require much of your personal information in order to cancel the subscription/​membership. Don’t fall for their scam! They are phishing for information and could use it for identity theft. I highly recommend that you call All You Can Books to cancel your account, and absolutely avoid any dealings with CancelWizard.

Horrible. Don’t do it. They only have titles which are out of copyright or over 100 years old. yes, I was sucked in by this predatory company. Signed up and apparently (although i am not convinced) did not cancel. Made a $ 60 donation to a predatory company. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY.

I wish I could put NO stars. Its called «public domain» meaning the copyrights have expired. It should be free as all those books already are. Plus what a garbage website… No search feature… I HAVE NEVER seen a site this bad. I hope they go under quickly so that no one else can be deceived. I knew I should have been weary when it required a credit card to even browse the book selection.

Yeah this site is pretty bad for the price. Its model from what I can see is to compile out of date titles with no copyright license fees that you can easily get for free at any online library (and I mean 50 years old or more… like Jane Eyre and Oliver Twist kind of old) and charge users $ 15 a month for reading them. Also, for this reason they knowingly hide the titles until you formally sign up with a credit card. $ 15/​month in an online sub is simply unsustainable when current licensee services are typically $ 9 or less. I’d imagine nearly everyone would drop out.
My guess is that $ 15 is basically supported to pay for foreign audiobook read recordings. So, unless you really want to pay someone a really big premium to read Shakespeare to you, you’re better off avoiding this service.

I received an email from this company and you have to give them your email in order to search the books to see if you even want to sign up. The next thing you know, my PayPal account is being charged $ 14.99 and I never downloaded a book or gave them any authorization or information regarding my PayPal account. I disputed the charge with PayPal, reported the company to the better business bureau and ripoff report. When I spoke with them, the first person hung up on me and the second basically told me I should have read the fine print and too bad about your luck.
Most of the books they offer I have never heard of and anyone thinking about joining this should run in the opposite direction!

I really wish I could give All You Can Books five negative stars. I was looking for FREE audio books to download on my e-​reader and stumbled across All You Can Books. I didn’t know that I had a membership with them because I didn’t get an email confirmation or any correspondence until I got a receipt of payment from PayPal stating my account was charged $ 14.99. When I tried to contact All You Can Books there was no phone number online, so I emailed them and I got an automatic response stating that someone would get back to me within 24-​hours. I then contacted PayPal’s dispute center and they contacted the vendor directly and it became an argument of access to information instead of refunding my money and canceling my membership. Not to mention the representative from All You Can Books was argumentative and righteous. Never a good sign.
This service is predatory and is absolutely NOT FREE. I asked for my money back and they refused stating that it was over the 15-​day mark and that I downloaded books. I don’t have these books nor did I sign-​up for any membership. I am very dissatisfied with the way this situation was handled.

I recently was looking for online free ebooks to download and read for FREE. Tons of sights came up. Somehow, I missed that this one is in NO WAY FREE. They charge $ 9.99 twice a month to download old books and read them for a certain amount of time.
I usually am much more observant. My bad for using this tricky service. OH!, They also would not refund the amount they deducted from my account, even though I have no recent rentals, ONE day after they charged me another $ 9.99.
Buyer beware! If you are looking for free books that are old to download, do NOT go here!
