AMC Village on the Parkway 9

This theater is my absolute favorite to watch movies, their drink prices are a little high but their seating makes up for it. Definitely love this theater and will continue to come here!

Huge screen, sofas that you can lift your legs! Super comfortable! Lots of movies! Love this place!

This is a very nice and clean movie theatre. The seats are so comfortable and recline also. The people who work here are very friendly too. I would definitely go here often.

This is my 4^th or 5^th time here overall. I am giving 2 stars because of understaffing.
The theater is nice and new. The seats are amazing. The sound is superb. But when 50% of my visits they are under staffed 2~3 people compared to what they need, it makes for a poor experience.
Today, they had 1 person on tickets on 1 on concession. That led to 2 massive lines. Time before the bartender wasn’t even the real bartender; it was a regular staff filling in.
Again, great theater that is inconsistently staffed.

This is a fairly small theatre compared to the other AMC’s. They only have 9 screens. However, it’s very nice and chic inside. They have the cool Coke machines and a bar for your drinking pleasure. I’ve enjoyed my experience here. The seats are comfortable and sound systems is great. We will definitely come back here for other movie showings.

Being that I have seen 3 of the last 4 movies I have seen at this theater, I am going to announce this theater as one of my go-​to places to see a movie. Maybe it is the super comfy reclining loungers in each theater, maybe it is the delicious fresh food, maybe it is the immaculately cleaned theaters… whatever it is, this place is a nice pleasant place to see a movie.

Totally awesome theater… nice clean theaters and to top it off, the most comfortable reclining seats make this a perfect date night theater… I am glad I spent this evening at such a fun location. .plenty of things to do outside the theater as well

We were just here tonight. And while we had a nice time, we found out this theater will not be getting Star Wars: The Force Awakens, due to other theaters in the area having access to it. This was incredibly disappointing, since I wanted to see Star Wars in their AMC Prime Dolby theater. Whatever rule or policy that is blocking this film from getting Star Wars is absurd. I understand that AMC was also responsible for LOOK Cinema for not getting certain films, but I’m not sure this is related.
Movie goers just want to see films at their favorite theater. I could have seen this theater being on of my favorites, especially with AMC Prime, but not having the biggest movie of the decade is the biggest let down.

So I’ve been here a few times now since my previous review. I don’t see the rude guy at the ticket stand anymore so that’s a good sign. The seats are COMFY and the location is perfect. Of course, the concessions are ridiculously overpriced but that’s to be expected at a movie theater.
Still keep in mind — they can only play certain movies here as to not compete with LOOK (a better movie theater IMO). If you live in Addison, you’ll have to go to one or the other when a new movie comes out.

Wife and I have come here a bunch of times and the reason we keep coming back is that it is clean and they have one of the comfiest reclining leather seats which are very spacious compared to other theaters.
In addition, their 3D glasses are always clean, no scratches and come sealed in plastic bags, unlike other theaters where these 3D glasses look like they’ve been dragged through dirt roads and given to dogs to play with.
This theater is smaller than other AMC locations, but normally has the latest movies and is surrounded by some cool restaurants that you can dine-​in before or after your movies.
The movie theater has a full bar where you can order drinks and snacks… although these can be pricy. The staff is friendly and their bathrooms are super clean.
Purchase your tickets online and select your seats way before you get to the theater so that you don’t have to line up or get bad seats. There is also a parking garage close by or you can valet in the nearby restaurants.

My favorite movie theater in DFW area! They have the comfiest reclining seats ever! The price is the same compared to any other regular theater. But the AMC prime is a little more pricy (about $ 3 extra) which I don’t think it’s really worth it since they all have reclining chairs. Maybe if you’re watching an action movie because each seat has speakers on it and your seat rumbles which is pretty cool. I also like their full bar inside which is nice.
By the way, they have reserved seating here so you have to choose your seats when buying your ticket.
Overall, I love watching movies here. Very clean and best seats in town!

Had a rocky first encounter at this particular theater, but they tried to make it up. On my next visit, I will immediately do a updated review to share my second experience.
We purchased 2 tickets to see «Dope» online to see later that night (7÷10÷15 @ 10:45pm). I have never been to this particular AMC, but I heard that it’s like all of the rest of them, which is a good thing. The theater itself is very nice. It’s location is probably what sets it apart from a lot of other theaters. It’s nestled right in the middle of a plethora of restaurants, bars, and shops. The perfect place to go grab dinner, a movie, and a few late drinks.
The problem came when we arrived, for some reason the 2 tickets for «Dope» had switched to 2 tickets for «The Minions». We looked for «Dope», but couldn’t find it anywhere. When we asked about it, they told us that there were only 2 tickets sold for «Dope» (which was us), so they canceled it and changed it to «The Minions». Huh??? Soooo the movie that we bought tickets for, and ran out of work to catch in time, was just canceled without any warning. I get that you can make more money by showing «The Minions», but it’s not right to sell tickets and then just cancel it without telling anyone about it… it shouldn’t matter if it’s 2 people or 30 people… it’s just not right. After they told us what happened, they were as nice as they could be about it and gave us 2 free passes in addition to «The Minion» tickets that we had already «purchased». Fortunately, Selena wanted to see «The Minions», so we went.
As for the theater itself, it’s your typical AMC. Very nice recliners, the food is good, the staff is friendly… and like I said, it’s in the perfect location for a date night. One stop for movies, dinner and drinks. I’m going to go back soon… hopefully it’ll be a good experience so I can update my review!

FABULOUS! I have to start off with the seats, they were extremely comfortable! The theater was very clean and I loved the fact that I can reserve my seats online. I also liked the fact that there is a glass barrier that separates the different rows, so you have more privacy. I like this movie theater as much as I like LOOK and iPic. Highly recommend coming here if you want to have an amazing experience at the movies.

Now this is a cool movie theater with motorized reclining leather seats. I love being able to kick back and relax as if I was at home. The prices are the exact same as any other amc so no surprises there.
The firs time I went there our movie messed up and we got free tickets and got to see the next show if we were willing to wait, and it was worth it.
It’s in a really nice area and has tons of restaurants around if you want to eat before or after.
The parking situation isn’t bad as there’s a pretty big parking garage next to it so you can park and stay within the area for your movies and dinner so that’s pretty cool.

Bruhhh, AMC Prime and them cool touch screen soda machines, get out of here! I just found my new go-​to theatre.
Btw AMC prime is a little pricey, but it’s really nice especially if you are watching an action movie. The seats rumble whenever there’s an explosion

Incredibly, needlessly expensive tickets. But that’s AMC for you. And naturally expensive concessions.
Their seats ARE comfortable, I will give them that. But $ 15 worth? Absolutely not. Friendly employees and the theater is clean.
I would 100% recommend going to LOOK right down the road for more affordable tickets, more varied options for theaters and if you go to the first showing of the day of any movie, you get $ 5 tickets.

AMC has declined in the last few years, however this theater is amazingly elegant.
The size is actually quite small, though it is spread out tactfully.
The staff is very polite and pleasant.
The bathrooms are STUPENDOUSLY clean.
The parking lot is nearby and accessible.
Last but not least, the seats are cozy to recline in with a nice brew from MacGuffins.

I guess I’ve been spoiled with Look theaters with the food and alcohol options. We’ve been here twice now. This last time we sat in the «prime» seats. They have vibrating seats that recline. Let me just say… NOT worth it. For starters two tickets cost $ 36. Our seats only worked half the time and if you have to pee the space between the reclined seat and the walkway to get to the bathroom is 5 inches! I was not a happy camper. It was dark and go figure the one time I can’t hold it I was stuck trying to maneuver my way out. I would have been better off army crawling on the floor to get out! These seats might be worth the money if they had service like Look does. But for the price it’s soooo not worth it if food and drinks aren’t being brought to you.
On a more positive note, the theater had great sound. Parking wasn’t horrible if you come before the normal dinner hour. If you come after 7 it’s a beating to find a spot because of all the restaurants and bars around.
Overall this is an ok theater. It’s clean but not worth the price. I’d rather go across the street to Look where I can get a good glass of wine and decent food. Not to mention cheaper tickets!

Great Chairs! One of the most important features of a movie theater — besides the movie and experience — is the chair. AMC has been renovating on this idea and I am glad. I have been to the one in Oklahoma City, where the chairs are a lot more comfy and big.
This place isn’t OKC but this theater is consider an AMC PRIME and does have nice reclining chairs that are adjustable to your preference. They also vibrate coordinating with the movie. Kind of like a physical 3D experience. The movie theater itself is clean and they have a cool kiosk to get your tickets from. Overall ⁴⁄₅ for me :)

I think this location is perfect. The Village on the Parkway has definitely been expanding and improving so this was a great addition.
I’ve been twice. This is a luxury cinema from AMC which comes with:
* A bar and lounge, Macguffins, which is to the left when you enter,
* the Marketplace, which offers you food items beyond the typical movie fare like Philly
Cheesesteak sandwiches, pizza, sliders shakes and more,
* Coca-​Cola freestyle — I love the drink options here as I don’t drink soda,
* Icee — who doesn’t love one of those once in a while,
* Leather, reclining seats that are comfortable and roomy, and
* Prime theaters– they have two flanking both sides of the concessions. These theaters have
360 degree sound, chairs that vibrate coordinated with the movie plus one is 3D. Supposed to
add to the movie watching experience.
Additionally, I think their ticket prices increase throughout the day. Cheapest in the morning, cheaper mid day and most expensive during prime hours at night. Don’t forget to become a Stubs member. You get a $ 10 reward for every $ 100 you spend plus other benefits.
Parking garage is nearby and one of the exits conveniently feeds right to it.
My overall experience notes:
— Popcorn was average, I didn’t eat much of my free popcorn. It was slightly stale or it just was
not fresh and crunchy.
— Milkshake was the business. Had espresso added with whipped cream on top. Took a minute
for them to make but it was really good. They have adult milkshakes at the bar
— Chili-​cheese hot dog was straight. Nice bun. Added jalapenos. Nice option.
Customer service was pretty good. They are still trying to work out the kink. I’ve been twice. The first time the lights were off so it was completely dark as you walked into the theater and the movie previews had yet to start… awkward…anybody in here? The second time the lights remained on after the previews started.. So we had to go get somebody to help both times.
Overall, I highly recommend this theater. It is in a great location with nice parking options. It has great offerings inside. Nice pre– or post– spots nearby outside. Staff are nice. Comfortable seating plu adult beverages. Score!
