Babies R Us

Yay for great employees! I am always asked if I need help, and staff is always friendly at check-out.I just wanted to give the employees at this location a little recognition for being friendly and always helping me.
Otherwise, this is just a standard Babies R Us although I find the lay-​out kinda funky.

Expensive !!! You can find everything in other places or online in way more reasonable price!

The other day I went into buy a projector/​sound machine. When I arrived, I noticed there were two boxes, of the kind of projector, that I wanted to buy. Both of these boxes looked like they had been opened and possibly returned. I had been having lots of trouble finding a reliable projector so I didn’t want to take a chance on buying one that had been previously used. I took the box to the front counter and asked the girl if I could possibly get a new one that had not been opened. She act acted as if she did not know what she was doing, had to ask the girl next to her several times for help, the other girl left the counter several times to go to the back to ask someone else for help, etc. She told me she could order one and have it delivered to my house. I was fine with this but then asked how long it would take to receive it and she again did not know and had to ask the girl next to her who also could not give me a definite answer. I was very frustrated by this point and told her that I did not want to place an order for something if I did not know how long it was going to take to receive it. She then asked me if I just wanted one from the back of the store. At this point I almost lost it because after at least 15 minutes of trying to order a projector, she tells me that there are some in the back?!? I then waited for someone to bring the new projector to me from the back. The girl then asks me if I still wanted to place the order for the projector. My face said it all at this point. I was beyond frustrated! I have had several experiences similar to this at this location, where service has been less than pleasant. To top things off, I had my 4 month old with me, who was ready for her nap! I thought it would be a 5 minute errand. It turned into 25! Very annoyed!

I am currently pregnant and this place is just around the corner of my apartment. I really enjoy their section here. It is smaller than Bye Bye Baby, but it has a little more intimate feel, kind of less intimidating if you are recently pregnant and just trying to get an idea of what the baby world is like. Their baby bottle selection is great, every kind of bottle brand, shape, color, you can think of. I always check out the clearance section because they also take an extra 40% off the price as marked. Over all i really enjoy this location, friendly employees and a great calming environment for expecting mothers.

I was only here because there was an upcoming baby shower at work or else I avoid all things baby related! My gosh though, the staff here is incredibly unprofessional! Loud music playing, boisterous workers, everything is pretty cramped except for the baby clothes section. There were so many empty or near empty racks. Most of the stuff was just baby basics, nothing cute looking or adorable matching sets. The two story setup is interesting as well. I guess toys r us is on top? A lot of the merchandise was in disarray that I didn’t even care to check out the second floor.

The staff was very helpful. It was a little disorienting with the 2 floors and all but we were able to figure out where to go and what we needed. We got a good deal on some bedding for our soon to be arriving baby daughter. They price match here as well so try to come prepared. Good selection of items and clean helpful store.
