History
Established in 1962.
My father opened this station as a Mobil in 1962 and we changed to Texaco in 1992 after a 30 year run. We were forced out buy the big oil company but there lease was up on the land and we bought it from the owner. To secure our future from what the oil company’s were trying to do. So we became a Texaco for 10 years but there merger with chevron would of put us without a supply contract for about 3 years. So we needed some security so Shell was the only one left so here it is over 50 years later. I want to think all our customers and there family’s for keeping me and my family here on the same corner and hope to serve the area 50 more years. Thanks The Backus family
