This bar is definitely out of my Deep Ellum bubble, but I have a friend that bar-​tends here so went to check this place out on Saturday.
It’s in a shopping center, and seriously huge inside. Was not expecting that. Belzie’s has everything a dive bar needs: $ 1 jello shots, makeshift patio for the smokers, old regulars, a juke box and cheap booze.
