Follow the smell of hot, fresh bagels to the corner of Skillman and La Vista to Benny’s Bagels Lakewood, a local favorite in the Lakewood neighborhood of Dallas, TX!

Our bagels are traditional New York style bagels, hearth-​baked fresh daily. We boil our bagels until the dough is soft, then seed and prepare each bagel by hand. This hand-​baking process creates our uniquely shaped bagels, unlike factory-​made bagels. Our bagels contain no additives and are cholesterol free and extremely low in fat — great for an energy boost in the morning.

Don’t know what to get? Ask our regulars! Some favorites include our honey almond apricot bagel as well as the «everything» bagel with Pacific salmon — our take on traditional bagels and lox. Try them with our homemade coffee or a glass of our freshly squeezed orange juice.

We’re proud to be a small locally-​run business, and with 15 years of honest ingredients and friendly service, we hope to continue to tradition for many years to come!

Established in 1996.

Benny’s Bagels Lakewood has been adding to the local flavor in Dallas, TX since 1996. Our mission is to bring the Northeastern tradition of dense, chewy, freshly-​baked bagels to Lakewood, served with friendly Texan hospitality. Over the years, we’ve become a neighborhood landmark, and we hope to serve our locals for many more years to come!

I’m a 30-​year resident of Lakewood and have raised my two kids here. My passions are biking White Rock Lake and supporting the diverse and unique businesses in my neighborhood. My background is advertising (agency owner and creative director). Long live Lakewood!
