Location of this club is a bit awkward but never stops me from going on a friday evening(It’s right next door to the Dallas Aquarium). The size of the venue is pretty big for a crowd of 100+ people. Like any club, it really depends on what night you go to determine what the demographic is and what the atmosphere is like. I ususally go on Friday evenings when OMG and LMENT host their parties there. The club is opened until 4am in the morning which is great for those of us who like to keep partying past 2am. Although the bar closes at 2am the bartenders are all really quick and do their best to meet your drink needs in as short a period of a time as possible. The DJs that have spun when I have gone, play R&B, Hip-Hop, and a lot of pop for the first 4 or so. But in the last 2 hours, they usually play old school techno — which i absolutely love. Bathrooms are usually clean and the lobby right in front of it is nice if you need to sit down for a bit. There are dance polls around the place and if i felt the need to get up and dance on it, i was never pulled down or got in trouble. There are two bars and there are projection screens to play music videos while the music plays. Overall I have a great time everytime i come to this place. I have never had to pay cover when I come so I can’t comment on that(sorry!).

The Dallas Aquarium’s next door neighbor is Club Bliss. How convenient! You can spend some quality time with the two-toed sloth and then get yo’ drink on next door! If you’re nickel thrifty, you can park in the same lot and really get your money’s worth. Club Bliss is weird. It wants to be exclusive with the wrist bands, carpet, and velvet old– school ropes. But it is empty until midnight. The club doesn’t make a lot of sense. Really smelly fog pours out of the ceiling above the dance floor periodically. The empty dance floor. Who are they trying to hide? Am I at a Haunted House? Also– there are 2 stripper poles which really attract a lot of attention from those kinds of people. Pros: 1. I asked the bartender to make me her favorite mixed drink and it was amazing: vodka, sweet and sour, and seven up and a secret ingredient. Love. 2. Nice mix of latin music, reggaeton, house, and rap 3. Clean bathroom without an assistant! I hate having to tip to dry my hands, ya hear? 4. Free before 11. Open Th-Sat, 9 – 2. Cons 1. Tough crowd. I mean, to flirt. No mingling! No cutie cutes! 2. Freakin’ hot. Maybe that’s why they have the stripper poles. 3. Spooky fog 4.Inconsistent drink prices 5. Fake coolness Worth a try if you’re really bored! =)
