Established in 1977.

We are family owned & operated since 1977. Bonnie & Clyde Stereo is proud to be the oldest Car Stereo Shop in the DFW from the 70’s. We started with CB radios and A– Tracks. Today we specialize in new modern mobile technology. Steve (founder) used to drive from Dallas to El Paso in a van to save enough money to open a business. Later he reached his goal and opened the store. He raised 7 Children, one of whom (Mason) is the owner today! Mason runs and operates the business with total dedication to improving quality control and customer satisfaction.

Did a lot of losing around for a place to tint my windows. Finally decided to come here and see first hand the tint and pricing. Located in part of Dallas where there is a lot of different businesses and shops for auto stuff. I walked in to what looked like be a long wait since there was people outside already waiting and a few people inside also. I walked in and no one was at the front counter. I waited a little and gentleman came from the back and assisted me promptly. He showed me all the options of the different films of tint and explained why some were legal at 35% and others 25% on the front. Be sure to look at all the different brands of film (Apollo, Viper, 3M, etc) and decide which will be best for you. I’m not sure if they go and check what your car looks like since my car was parked right in the front of the front door and the door was open so he could see my car without leaving the front counter. But he did make suggestions on what would look good on it and what wouldn’t. After a few moments of internal debating on which I should get and all, I decided on Viper Tint film. I wanted quality since in Dallas the heat would literally cook you inside your car. He estimated it would be done right before closing which made it a 3 hour timetable. If you plan on staying they have lounge chairs and a TV to watch. There isn’t much to walk to around the area, no mall or anything, so bring snacks and entertainment if planning on staying. I came home. So far it has been an enjoyable experience. Will update finished product soon.
********* UPDATE 1 *********
I came back to the shop a quarter to 7pm and my car wasn’t done yet. I believe he was finishing up the last window. Nonetheless The sit wasn’t bad and car was finished. Luis (who has been the gentleman helping me) explained to me the rest of the pricing (no changes in what was quoted), how long to leave the windows up, and the water/​solution marks on the windows. He informed me of the lifetime warranty and how I would get the information from the manufacturer. The tint looks great and I am pleased so far. Will do a 2 week update after the sun has baked it in and it has settled on the windows.

Was looking for a great place to tint my car and get a remote start and I looked this place up which I’m so blessed I found. The owner was so easy to work with and got me out of there so fast! They were so busy but have many employees to help you. I will definitely be back soon to get some more awesome things they have for my car! Well, I just had the guys here install a ham radio transciever. They were very friendly and reasonably quick getting it done. The price was about what I expected, so that was good. They had nice comfortable place to wait with cable tv and complimentary beverages. However, and heres the not so good stuff. When I spoke to the installer, I told him what I wanted, but thats not what I got. I wanted the body of the radio installed in an inconspicuous location and I would decide later where to mount the remote head. He instead installed it right out in the open where it is in plain sight looking in the window, so that somewhat disappointed me. They didnt have a meter available to check the SWR on the antenna, so now I have to go spend another hundred bucks on a meter, which I need anyway, but didnt really plan on that expense. And I didnt even get to speak to the installer once the job was finished to ask about the install. They had him off running errands. All in all, I am fairly happy with the install, and would probably use them again, but would make sure the installer knew exactly what I was looking to do, and maybe be asked if they were going to have to do it another way before the install was completed. The owner said he was going to go buy a meter to have on hand for future installs so that is good. Now I just have to figure out how to make it a little less visible so I dont get a window smashed and a radio stolen.
Just a few minutes after leaving the review, which wasnt bad, they really did a good clean install, Mason, I think is his name, the owner called me and was very apologetic about my experience there, which again, was not bad, and really a good bunch of folks, but he wanted to make it right. And as long as I dont get a window smashed out by a thief looking for a score, I will be pleased as punch by the professional and clean install.

I’ve had work done on my car with Bonnie and Clyde Stereos 3 times! The service always exceeds expectations. Mason, the owner, has been there working every time I stop in sometimes just to say hello. On one of my cars there was a glitch in the system, I brought my car back a week after installation and they got me right in and fixed the issue. I would recommend this shop as the best in Dallas with affordable prices, excellent and honest staff, and of course the best of the best car technology products.

As an avid audio/​video and electronic enthusiast, I can confidently say that this is one of the best shops in DFW. I have been a B&C customer for over 6 years now and they always take care of me. Whether it’s Mazin or Louis or one of the other guys that takes care of you, you are certain to be in good hands. They are very knowledgable on the latest products and what is going to be best for your vehicle. If they don’t think something will sound/​look good, they won’t sell it to you. They aren’t pushy sales guys, they just want to help you find a solution that fits what you are looking for.
Whether you need a new radio, iPod factory integration, LEDs, HIDs, a CB radio, tint, radar detector, alarm/​remote start or complete system overhaul… this is the place to go. Depending on what you are needing, prices are very competitive to other local shops and online retailers. Somethings are a little more expensive but I am okay with spending the extra $ because I know they aren’t selling junk to me and they will stand behind the products and installation.
They have recently remodeled the entire showroom and it looks really good. You can demo most products they carry and see/​hear the difference between factory equipment and the lines thy carry. If they don’t have a product in stock, they can get it usually within a few days.
Just stop on by and check out the store if you need any work done to your car and they will be happy to answer any questions.

Took my 2015 Lexus IS250 in this morning after reading all the awesome reviews. Gave me a great deal and was half all the quotes of other shops I went to. Took these guys LESS than an hour to get it done (and there were a couple of people ahead of me in line). Tint looks flawless. I’ll be back for more!

They’re in the middle of a little remodeling to update the look but they were very accommodating with free WiFi and TV going. Definitely coming back to have other things done!

My faith in humanity and good service has been restored! My first experience here was great. I hit a few bumps in the road on my second and third. What was impressive was that when it was brought to the owners attention he bent over backwards to make things right. It seems so rare these days that you find a business that cares this much and is willing to bend over backwards to make things right. Today was my most recent visit and they really went out of their way to understand what I wanted to be done and to let me know if was important to them. I wish there were more owners that cared this much about their customers. Well, at least we have found this one my fellow Unilocalers! I’m bringing my car back in a week or so for some more upgrades. I have a feeling I’ll be bumping them up to a well earned 5 Stars at that point.

Great customer service and great staff. Very knowledgeable and really looks after the customers needs. I highly recommend them for all of your audio/​video automobile needs. Got my windows tinted here on my Audi. They did a great job, and got it done in 2 hrs. The staff is really nice and knowledgeable and there’s not much else to say. They do good work for a great price. Would definitely recommend them to friends.

Holy moly I finally found the store that has everything I need, all in one store … I went in to buy a small dash kit and a wiring harness I couldn’t resist but to look at the nice display of dash cameras that they had in there showcase finally after talking to Luis, we worked out a bunch of pros and cons about the some of the setups
he was nice enough to spend his time to explain almost every detail about each device
These guys rock they are a very busy store but most definitely worth the wait!

SUMMARY: The folks B&C CB Stereo are friendly and professional. I was in and out of there in one hour.
I had a miserable experience at CAR TOYS (see my review for CAR TOYS Lewisville Stemmons-http://www.yelp.com/biz/car-toys-lewisville). B&C was a refreshing example at how easy a car stereo experience should be.
I had an issue with my stereo speaker and needed to replace the window tint on both the driver and passenger doors. They took care of me with an hour and charges less than $ 140. CAR TOYS wanted $ 101 just for an inspection only.
I will be back whenever I need car audio advice or service.

Just recently got a remote start for my car at B&C. The owner was very nice and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about their product and answer all questions you have. In regards to the product, I chose a viper remote start, and I love it. The Texas heat is slowly creeping up on us and I was just tired of getting in my car and having to wait on the AC to cool down my car. I dropped off my car in the morning and came back to get it a couple hours later.
