Camera Ready Cosmetics

I really really *hate* to give them this score because I come here almost all the time. With that being said, I pay full price for my products, no discounts whatsoever (I’m not a MUA) therefore this review is reflecting my customer service.
The people are great, the girls are nice and very helpful, but the check out process is EXTREMELY SLOW — it’s aggravating slow. I’ve been here on many occasions and it never fails. I don’t understand why. I understand that they have to log into the customer’s account, put the item in their «cart» and then check out, but isn’t there seriously an easier way to check out? If you’re a GUEST user, just forget it; it’s even more slow — which is why I created an account in the first place to hopefully decrease wait time.
One day, I went online, purchased my products & paid. I then went to the place (about 20 mins later) to do in-​store pickup and it took SOO long just to get my products that were checked out in advanced, and paid in advanced. The whole reason why I did that method was for FASTER check out.
I don’t know if it’s the warehouse people in the back that are slow, or what, but the whole check out process needs to be better. I’ve had people get checked out before me because the computer was lagging or something went wrong. Therefore, I kindly distance myself from the cashier and someone swoops in-​front of me and they get checked out. I hardly had a cashier tell the customer «I’m sorry ma’am/sir, she was the next in line.» I only had 1 lady do that for me and I believe she was the store manager.
My patience has been tested and I’m fed up with the checkout process. But because they do offer such great products, I will continue to go. I’m just going to have to suck up the checkout process.
Lastly, I asked for a sample of foundation to be put into a clear container rather than that black container which was accommodated (thank you) but they didn’t even fill the product all the way. I understood it’s because the black container holds LESS product than the clear container, but for $ 2.99 a sample is it seriously that crucial? I can buy those containers 50 pieces for $ 3 on EBay (I’ve checked).
If a logical explanation can be told as to why check out is so long, I’d love to know. I know it’s not because of the amount of products I buy. I usually get 4 items or less. I think its because of the warehouse — organization needs to be better in getting the product quickly.

I usually order on the online website. So when I found out they opened a store here in dallas, I couldn’t have been more excited. Now I don’t have to wait for shipment to come online. When you walk in the building, walk past the receptionist and there is a small room on the left. As you walk in the store everything is nicely displayed. Then when your ready to check out you let the cashier know and she puts your order on the computer. Then when your ready to check out after paying. She rings the bell on a closed window behind her and gives them a printed inventory sheet and they get your products in the back. Then your finished and your ready to go. I do recommend giving yourself some alloted time just in case there is other people in front of you. Its only 1 cashier and 1 computer. The cashier that helped me was super sweet though! She is very knowledgable on the products that are there. Definitely a huge help with everything. I am so happy this store opened here in Dallas. Thanks Camera Ready Cosmetic!
