I’m not sure where these negative reviews are coming from, but I’m literally sitting in Dr. Maloufs office and had a great second experience at this clinic. He was patient and listened to all my concerns re: my on again off again hormonal acne and winter itchy skin. He gave me the lowest possible dose of a medication for my skin issues keeping in mind my sensitivity to meds and gave me an ointment for my itchy skin. He has a great bedside manner! His nurse/assistant was also very friendly and took the time to answer any questions I had before I left. I took a star off for a «stand offish» front office staff member that had a mild attitude. Other than her, this was a great experience! Will update once i complete my medications. Only other downside is his office is really far from me and I hate that the waiting time to talk to someone over the phone is INSANE, especially during holiday periods when all other the ladies in Dallas want to get their Botox fix.

I would give Dr. Malouf and his staff negative stars if I could. As stated in other reviews they overbook so your waiting for an hour before you see anybody and the staff is rude. More importantly though is the misdiagnosis I received for Dr. Malouf. I came to his office pointing out two suspicious spots I thought were skin cancer. He didn’t think either were a problem. I went to another dermatologist, had both spots biopsied, and both came back as skin cancer!

I would not recommend this place if you expect to be treated like a customer/client/patient or if you value your time. When you book an appointment at a dermatologist, there are no emergencies. There are however, over bookings or double bookings and this place does both. My appointment was for 9:30am, I was not called for until 10:10am. Sorry but that is not how its supposed to be done. The bigger issue with this place is the front office/desk. They are so unbelievably rude it boggles the mind how anyone would come here more than once. They are so concerned with payment of service they forget how to treat people. They treat all people as if they are dead beats and cannot pay their bills. The front desk acts like angry bill collectors before you are even seen by the doctor and when you leave they freak out and say to you the minute you walk out of the procedure room, «you owe more money!» Seriously? As if I was going to make a mad dash for the door and skip out on my bill? And it turned out, I had already met my deductible so the crazy woman who was trying to force me to stay obviously couldn’t understand that I didn’t need to pay anything more. She said well we have to figure out what you owe! I told her I met the deductible for the year and I owe nothing. I am covered at 100%. If the woman had done her job when I called in and provided my insurance info, or when I got there and gave my insurance information and ID, while I waited 40 minutes to be seen, she could of checked to see if I needed to pay any additional money. But no while I was being seen by the PA she was too busy wasting time doing something else, like over booking future patients. The most it could of cost was a few hundred dollars and this woman was freaking out. It was an awful experience. The Physicians Assistant who I was seen by, couldn’t of been nicer. Its too bad they hire crazy out of control bill collecting nut case employees. I won’t ever go back there again. The only reason I gave them two stars was because Nancy Smith the PA was very nice.

Julie is wonderful for Botox, but the office staff is incompetent. They continually mess up scheduling, and/or forget to inform the staff that an appointment has arrived. I waited for over an hour and a half for an appointment with Julie that the staff neglected to schedule, before leaving without seeing her. The Derm also has no manners or concern for the patient.

I have been to both offices, there were numerous mess up between both of the offices. They messed up on billing, scheduling, and the last I went in to visit I was taken off acutane and was still billed for the office visit even though no services were rendered. I am currently waiting on a phone call to see if they will even refill a topical acne solution, they may need to see me again, so they can squeeze more money out of me.
