While I have not been here personally, I have eaten at a number of restaurants that use their cakes. The tres leches is so yummy I had to ask the restaurant where they buy their cake from… drool! I couldn’t justify going out of my way to drive there for a slice of cake, that’s a bit ridiculous, but I figured they deserved some praise for sourcing my favorite desserts at a number of restaurants.

This place has some impressive cheesecakes and other desserts at great prices. I picked up the Reese’s peanut butter cheesecake which was just under $ 30 and well worth it! Make sure you let it thaw a bit before serving as they are still partially frozen. Ours was still slightly frozen in the center after about 3 hours but I picked it up right before I needed it. I suggest picking it up a day in advance so it can thaw in your fridge. The only thing I didn’t like, which some people may prefer, was that it was pre-sliced and had the little separation papers between each slice. Not the prettiest presentation when using as a birthday cake but great if you are not worried about the appearance. I had to careful remove each paper and push the pieces side by side again. I was in the store for no more than a couple minutes since I walked in knowing what I wanted. The woman working there was very nice.

A colleague recommended this place when we were looking for good local flavor for client Christmas gifts. This shop specializes in weddings and custom orders but was a more convenient outlet than the downtown location to pick up a sampler. Noni was super helpful and very friendly. The sampler was enough to convince us that they would serve as great client gifts for the holidays. We sent a couple dozen to clients, mostly in the DFW area and a few across the country. Cheesecake Royale packaged them up in dry ice and inserted a gift card we supplied inside the top of each box. Clients loved them, and our employees enjoyed the sampler so much that we ordered two more for an employee gift exchange party and a pumpkin one for our CEO and his family. Highly recommend this local business for volume gift shipments. Of course, eating the cheesecake yourself is half the fun. I couldn’t resist getting a slice of a green, white and pink one called Spumoni at Noni’s recommendation. It has layers of pistachio and cherry and white chocolate(I think). Delish and indescribable at the same time.(We might have ordered this for our clients if only it came in the larger size.) Just don’t try to eat it until it has time to thaw. They are all frozen until ordered.

This is purely for their customer service. Tried to purchase cheesecake for our wedding guests, but after multiple calls and emails, could not get any response back. Why even offer large orders as a service if you don’t have the decency to even return a phone call?

Was looking for a place to get a cheesecake for my wife’s birthday since she loves cheesecake. I read good reviews and saw that the cheesecake was nearly half the price of the Cheesecake Factory. I’ve never really liked cheesecake but this was pretty good. If I’m ever looking for another cheesecake, I’ll be back.

Never written a bad review. This time I can’t resist. I read how good the Tiramisu was here. It is the day before Valentine’s Day. The place is decorated. There are no baked goods anywhere in sight. Only a chalkboard with names of food on it. The girl behind the counter was unfriendly. I asked if I could buy tiramisu by the slice. She said no and continued to stare at me. My question is why would anyone want a whole anything for Valentine’s Day in the way of dessert? They had no slices of anything to offer. I had driven all the way across town just to get there only to be not helped. Now I know not to go back.

First time here so I did not know what to expect. Seems there is only one cake to purchase a slice of and one cheesecake of the day to purchase a slice of. I choose the key lime pie cheesecake. For $ 4.00 I expected a larger piece but then the Cheesecake Factory wants $ 7 to $ 8 for their pieces. Got it home and discovered it was frozen. Not nice. Would have been nice to be told it was frozen and how long to defrost and how to defrost. Once it was edible I found little key lime flavor. The cake was creamy which was very nice. Prices for the cakes are not unreasonable. I have made a number if cheesecakes and they can be expensive to make with good ingredients. Plan to try a cake and see how that is. Wish there were more single slices to choose from.

I picked up an Italian Crème for a birthday. The cake was good, not the best ever, but good. It looked wonderful and was very reasonably priced. It was too rich without enough depth of flavor, but I imagine the other cakes from here are good and I will be returning.

I’ve bough Tiramisu twice from this place. it cost me $ 29. I’ve mix feeling about this place. The first time it was good, and I rave about this place to my friends. But the second time, the bread inside was dry and I was eager to complain and return it back. Based on my experience, I might not go back since its a risk getting stuck with enormous portion of dry tiramisu. UPDATE I take my previous complain back. As the cake defrost completely, the bread became more moist. Therefore, I would recommend this place for their great Tiramisu

My friend bought a plain cheesecake from here for her birthday and it was fantastic. Definitely worth the drive and money. I can’t wait to go back and try their other desserts.

LOVE Cheesecake Royale! I bought a NY plain cheesecake for my fiancée for his birthday and also picked up a turtle cheesecake for my mom. Ordering couldn’t have been more simple. Just e-mail the e-mail address posted at the bottom of their retail menu online at their website and you’ll get a friendly response letting you know they’ve set aside what you want and everything will be ready when you get there. And it was. I was greeted with a smile, my order was immediately pulled, and I was in-and-out within about 3 minutes. The cheesecake was delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try some of their sliced cakes like the Tres Leches… they look awesome. We will definitely be back!

This bakery rocks! Like other reviewers have mentioned, this bakery supplies many of the desserts we eat at restaurants in the DFW area. I discovered this place about a week ago when I was searching for a large Tiramisu cake for my hubby’s bday party. I was able to cut about 20 – 24 pieces of cake and it only cost me $ 25 bucks. Yes, $ 25! Did I mention the cake was divine? I also purchased a small(8 generous slices) Amaretto cheesecake for $ 12(amazing as well!) I believe their large(28 – 32 slices) cheesecakes are $ 22. They also offer Petit Fours for $ 25– these are 1×2 assorted cheesecake bites that are IDEAL for catering or large events(baby showers, weddings, etc). If you would like larger pieces, they also offer the Cheesecake Sampler. You could also go to them for a large Tres Leches cake for about 30 bucks instead of going to La Duni and paying a fortune. Side Note: La Duni’s Tres Leches cake is very dry. I dealt with Corina. She works Monday through Saturday– 10am to 5pm. The number listed above is for their factory. If you would like to call the retail location, you must dial(214) 328– 0424. You can call her a day ahead for special orders(such as the Petit Fours) or to put a dessert aside for you. However, calling her in advance isn’t necessary. They have a massive freezer in the back with most of their products ready for YOU to take home. You are welcome! ;-)

Bought the tiramisu for a New Year’s party. It was a big hit — everyone was asking where I got it. It came frozen — I thawed it in the fridge for about 2 hours before the party. Cost $ 25.00 and was big enough for about 24 small servings or 16 large servings. Will definitely try other desserts here.

The smell was amazing upon walking in. I was really disapointed we couldn’t get just a slice of cheesecake that we had heard so much about. It’s really just a place to go if you need whole cakes.

After being a long-time customer of Cheesecake Royale, it’s time to pony up and give them their due review! As someone who is pretty ‘routine’(ie, when I find something I like, I stick to it) Cheesecake Royale is one of those places that once you find your thing on the menu, it’s hard to stray. The cool thing about this place is that they are mostly known for providing desserts to many, many Dallas-area restaurants. The way they package their desserts(frozen, individually portioned) makes it an awesome way to handle larger quantities without letting the whole thing go to waste, if you want to manage portions. However, we’ve frequently purchased their goodies for parties, as not only are the items like the chocolate bundt and tiramisu knock-outs, but the small, bite-sized cheesecakes are the perfect party dessert. Enough said… go visit… family owned and operated!
