About a year ago, I found this place and thought I had finally found a great nail salon in my neighborhood. But lately there is a terrible smell — the front area and bathrooms smell like sewage and the sink area smells like mildew. All of this I was willing to give them time to clean up before I returned. I understand business deal with plumbing issues, etc. and I wanted to be fair and give them another chance. However, the last two times that I returned, the young Hispanic receptionist has been very rude. She is impatient, short with customers and rolls her eyes. I am tired of being greeted with attitude — it sets the tone and ruins an otherwise enjoyable experience. It’s unfortunate because the technicians were top notch.

I did not like my service here, I walked in and the young lady at the front was very very rude, she has a strong attitude! After signing in many people were in and out… As for my sister and I we sat there for about an hour waiting for just a simple manicure. After a while I asked how much longer and the lady at the front told me I was next… Guess that was a lie. This was a waste of my time and I expect better service! I do not recommend coming here!

First time visit and first time getting gel nails. Ni is very attentive and did a great job. It’s nice to have a cheerful and smiling nail technician(not sure it’s that’s the proper title) instead of some«mean muggin» ladies I’ve had at other nail salons. Or perhaps they just had RBF, lol! Not sure, but none of that here. Everyone is in good spirits and ready to get your claws tamed and polished and shred off those 2″ calloused heels without snears of disgust. Overall a pleasant experience. Clean, peaceful and quiet. Complimentary drinks and wine.

Ever since renovating the place, the owner’s(kevin) head got big. The service is absolutely awful. You’d think it’d be the other way around since upgrading. But no, they rush and the work they do is down right sloppy. Everyone is so rude. I live in walking distance from the place, but I’d rather walk 2 hours to another nail place that doesn’t discriminate. My French manicure turned yellow the next morning. Oh and they don’t give a flip about hygiene. Dirty as a homeless man’s barefoot.

Beautiful nail salon with a large nail polish selection. The workers are very nice and the setting is incredibly relaxing. I was pressed to find a new nail salon after moving to Farmers Branch from Dallas and I tried this place as a contender. I was pleased with the results of my lavender pedicure and shellac manicure until the shellac came off just a few days after. I was so disappointed as that’s the reason that I choose shellac — the longevity of the polish. I have since chosen a different salon but this place isn’t bad.

I love Coco Nail Salon! I’ve been a client for about twenty years, give or take a year. For the past thirteen, Leon has been my nail guru! Baby he is a Beast! He NEVER lets me down. I never worry about anything while I’m in his care. I just sit back & relax… Most of the time it’s with a glass of wine I am forever fly, thanks to Leon. Oh & Stanley is a hoot! He is my brotha from another mother When you go, tell him Tami said to tell you about the Chinese chocolate, LOL!

absolutely will NOT be going back! The young girl at the front desk is so rude. My pedicure is decent but my manicure looks so bad that when i got home my boyfriend said«you payed to get that done?» the lady refused to fix them after i said i would pay extra if she would. When i handed her the colors i wanted she said that those colors would not look good o me a laughed and started laughing with her co workers in their language… Do Not Go To This Place! No stars whatsover for my first time comming here, absolutely disgusted

Definitely a fan. The interior is great, music relaxing. they offer beverages and the staff is very friendly. I go at my lunch for a manicure and am out before my hour with a perfect set of nails.

I recently had to let go my previous nail tech due to scheduling issues and was in a real bind. I live down the street from Coco Nails and thought that I would give them a try. Heck they were close to Starbucks so I grabbed a latte and walked over to the salon. I was greeted and seated right away. From the outside of the building I was hesitant as it looked pretty shabby and small. I was VERY surprised when I walked in to see an immaculate salon that looked beautiful and smelled clean. The salon was much bigger than it looked from the outside. I requested a new set of solar nails and off we went. Stanley was AMAZING. We soaked my previous set of nails off and then we started talking. I had no idea that there were so many options that I could chose from. None of the salons that I have gone to in the past had the vast variety of acrylic colors that I could choose from. I picked out a beautiful glittery mauve acrylic and Stanley told me that If I disliked it that I was free to come back and he would change it for my pink and whites no questions asked. I have a real problem with acrylics lifting and a week into my new set there have been no issues what-so-ever. The prices are average for the area so I feel as if I have found a bargain as I have not had to go back and have my nails repaired. I am impressed, and believe me that is hard to do. I have been to all of the salons in the area and this one by far is the best. Too bad it took me this long to actually walk in and figure that out. Just proof that looks can be deceiving. I will be back for my nail maintenance and plan on getting a pedi when I go next time.

Coco nails… they don’t sterilize the clippers — hide them in a drawer, and pull out for the next victim(I mean client), they work on someone’s feet and then go to the next client and don’t wash their hands… it is dirty there. @ Jennifer — I really encourage you to make a complaint to the state of Texas. I just did — takes about 5 minutes… regarding a salon that cut me ! I am really sorry that u had such horrible treatment… I got fungus once — we ALL Should stand up to these people — they are exploiting us! The state will ONLY inspect — if we send in a complaint…

I’ve only been here a few times, one being last night, and all my experiences have been okay. I got a pedicure and eyebrow wax and I enjoyed both. The guy who did my pedi did a good job. No complaints. Good massage and my feet were so soft afterwards. The eyebrow wax was also good. When I walked into the room I was really surprise to see how small it was. The chair wasn’t very comfortable. It was just a regular chair with a pillow not the kind that reclines which doesn’t make it very relaxing. The lady who did them did a good job though. I have very sensitive skin and I always swell up and get red. But this time I just got pink and no swelling. The best part it didn’t hurt at all. She did leave them thicker like I asked her to but I wish it would have had more of an arch. It just looked like they were cleaned up but no shaping. I can’t say this was the best eyebrow wax but it was better than ones I’ve had before. The owner(I believe is this small skinny guy) isn’t very friendly but everyone else is. Not great but not bad. But good enough to come back.

I’ve been coming to CoCo Nails since I was in high school(15 years ago). Now that I live in Las Colinas — I still drive the extra few miles to come here. The wait does get long sometimes, so its best to go when it’s not a peak time such as Sat or Fri evening. If I walk in at 7:59PM — they will stay late and give me the same great service. This is also one of the only nail salons that will use a foot blade upon request. It is best to be vocal about how much or how little you want your heels filed or cuticles clipped. I’m a fan of CoCo and I like to get the Shellac Gel Polish for $ 30 on my finger nails and my eyebrows waxed. Again, with waxing, you need to be vocal about how much or how little you want them to wax and tweeze, and what shape, thickness, etc.

Let me start by saying, I have been here several times and ALWAYS enjoyed my experience. This time, not so much!!! I will say, from far away, my toenails and feet look great! Get a closer look and you could see why I’m hobbling around like an idiot!!! I have skin missing on my heels and I have a HUGE big red toe that is oozing PUSS from some mishap with the clippers. Put that together with the fact that my feet sat in cold water for over 30 min. while waiting(don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind waiting if the assistant could come by and warm my water up every once in a while) made this for an absolute miserable experience!!! Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else… or wait for one of the ladies! The young guy is the culprit!
