I don’t recommend anybody moving in. The living experience is horrible. Before I signed the lease, I was guaranteed that the carpet is going to be brand new. But after I moved in, the carpet was old and dirty, there were cockroaches dead bodies everywhere and even dead bug bodies in the fridge. holes on the bedroom door, dents on the fridge, dirty foggy window in the master bedroom and dirty marks in the bathtub etc. I have to submit a very long checking list for them to fix. Some of them are fixed as the time went by(the dirty window took a total 4 months). Some are still on the list(such as the carpet). The second problem I was facing is the cockroach. I found them everywhere, in kitchen, in rest room, in laundry room and even on the wall of my bedroom. It is so scary and disgusting. I can live with most problems but not the roaches. That’s why it was the only and most important question to your staff that I asked before I sign the lease:” if there are roaches in this neighbourhood” and I was told no. This was a lie that I can not stand. No matter how much clean I keep my apartment as and how many times I call the pest control, there are always roaches climbing out from pipes in the sink, from the holes in the dishwasher or other places I didn’t notice. It’s because the roaches are everywhere in this building, in this neighborhood, it technically can not be fixed by keeping my own apartment clean. Third problem is the security, I got my packages stolen twice in front of my apartment. This has never happened before in any other apartments I have been living. And then first time in my life, I got my kitchen ceiling falling apart and nasty water leaking and flooded in my apartment.(I appreciated the discount on that month rent, but still, it was a horrible experience and I got serious property damage) Finally my car got badly damaged by hit and run. I still remember my boyfriend’s vehicle got towed because he didn’t park at the visitor parking one night and other peoples’ car got towed because they were not head in(Yes, it doesn’t matter what kind of vehicle you are driving, even a truck, you have to park with head in, or, wait to be towed). The patrol and security system here are really responsible at finding those cars to get towed but can not keep tenant’s property safe? So ironic. Seriously, for your own safety, don’t move here.

Pros: The office staff here are great! When you request something to be fixed, it gets done within 1 business day. Everyone is nice & helpful. If you’re looking for affordable apartments near a middle class neighborhood, this is it! It’s always quiet after 10pm. They recently updated the buildings with fresh paint & are re-doing the parking lot lines. It’s close to White Rock Lake, YMCA, & the Dallas Arboretum. Whole Foods is down the street & the liquor store is down the street. Cons: There are low class people living here, mostly hispanic so there are a lot of kids playing in the parking lot & jumping around above you in their apt. Theres at least 2 families per bedroom in an apt & a lot of cars so it’s hard finding parking. Since they are low income, their cars are crappy & the will bang their doors into your car(I have to park very far to avoid this). One of the pickup trucks backed into my car. Of course they didn’t leave a note. I just had the wonderful surprise of finding my rear end bashed in the next morning. I couldn’t even open my trunk! It cost $ 2000 to fix &2.5 weeks in the shop. The parking lot gets full after 9pm & its impossible finding a spot on weekend nights. The walls are paper thin. I can hear people’s tvs & conversations. My boyfriend & I call the people upstairs elephants, even though its just a 12 yr old boy. I never use the pool because its always dirty from all the dirty people swimming in the pool with their clothes on. Its not the offices fault, they are always having the pool cleaned. I drive 15 minutes away to another friends pool. I chose to live here because it’s economical but now my income has increased & I can’t wait to get out of here & move into some nice well constructed apts with good neighbors.
