Dallas Dirty Dogs

Came here during lunch time from work… a co worker took me here and i thought i was going to try the best hot dogs in town but he suggested I try the burgers. After one bite, i wanted to slap him in the face bc they were so GOOD… Twisted roots is right down the street (known for their burgers) but Dirty Dogs have them slightly beat. The burgers were juicier and more… POW. Get the burger Medium and it will just melt in your mouth. Also, they have some kinda red seasoning on the table (looks like some kinda hot seasoning but its not)…add that to your fries for a lil more kick.

you have the option of a plain dog or a bacon wrapped dog but who doesnt like anything wrapped in bacon? especially when you get the option of topping it off with grilled onions! om nom nom! it taste great sober, taste even greater drunk! :) its a must try for everyone!

Dallas Dirty Dogs… so good, make you wanna slap your own mama

Me and a friend took a trip to find these mythical Dallas Dirty Dogs on a Friday late night. What we found can only be described as synonymous with Delicious Delectable Dogs. I didn’t know we were in for such a savory ‘meal’ as it can only be described: bacon wrapped hot dogs, optional sauteed onions (which I highly recommend), and the usual hot dog fixins, mine of which included sriracha! I had heard about these hot dogs being tasty but I never thought I would witness someone before me eat SIX in a row, even more amazing by the fact that one filled me up.
Definitely make the trip to try one of these meal dogs, they are based off of Main/​Field downtown but I suggest following their twitter (@dallasdirtydogs) since they move around Dallas, but never too far. Regular hot dogs are available for those with an aversion to bacon (I’m feel sorry for these people) but give the dirty dog a try… you’ll be glad you did.

First time I tried a dirty dog… I had 5 of them… doesn’t that tell you something? =D If you haven’t eaten one, you are definitely missing out. It’s a must have for any food lover.

How else to end a night of debauchery but with bacon wrapped hot dogs. For about $ 5 you get one of these gut busting, cholesterol increasing «dirty dogs.» I found these guys sitting right outside a night club and had to try one. I can honestly say I was drunker than I should’ve been, but one of these dogs hit the spot and saved me a trip to Buzzbrews/​Dennys. Would I eat this every weekend? Probably not unless I wanted to start taking Lipitor, but I’d definitely have another if I’m stumbling around the area late Friday or Saturday night.
