This place is okay. When you come in you are herded through the line like cattle to the slaughter house. Try to complete the paperwork ahead of time. As it will help speed up the process. We were not happy with the experience though because our doctor set us up with an 11:30 am appointment. Instead of calling us the day before as a reminder like every other doctors office does, they call us at 8 am in the morning OFTHEDAYOFTHEPROCEDURE asking why we are not there yet. Of course, we told them our paperwork clearly stated 11:30. She of course didn’t believe us until we got there with our paperwork and saw for a fact that the procedure arrival time as at 11:30 am as we noted. She then apologized at that point… but only after we had to prove on our part, which I don’t see why I have to prove anything. Once past all that drama, expect to get in and out within about 2 hours. The initial experience was horrible. To me this just makes me want to get another GI specialist that is not associated with this faciility.

Great service, very nice and patient staff. When we registered, we had a question about payment. The receptionist took her time hearing our side of the story and explained the best she could about what insurance was taking. No one rushed us through anything and we didn’t feel like we were ‘on the clock’. The nurses were great as well. And Dr Persley was very kind. Would recommend procedures be done here. It’s right off 75 south and Airline Rd. Building hangs over the parking lot. Entrance is the small elevator area and clinic is on 2nd floor. Easy to find but map it to be easier.

A colonoscopy is not something you look forward to, but I had one done today at Dallas Endoscopy and they could not have made the procedure more relaxed and easy. Everyone from the receptionist, nurses, Med tec’s could not have done a better job. Thanks to all for a great job.

A colonoscopy is a procedure that no one craves but is often the difference between life and a very uncomfortable death. I have gone through this procedure a number of times, earlier in one of the top hospitals in Dallas and the last two times at this facility. As far as the facilities, procedures, and staff is concerned, one facility is equal to the other. The convenience and size of this Center to that of a busy major hospital makes the choice, for me, an easy one. Both my wife and I have the same doctor and we know his standards, demeanor, and we are trusting of him based on the high recommendations of our Internal Medicine specialist. Quite frankly, I was surprised at some of the critical comments that I read on this site. I’ve been to a number of specialists and most are rather«direct» in the way that circumstances demand. They are busy and they leave the warm and fuzzies to the staff. My experience here and in other specialists’ offices that my attitude is picked up by the staff. If I treat them poorly, I’ll find the same treatment coming back. Pre-payment is mandatory, just as any unpleasant procedure might require. I have had no gripes that I can lay at the doorstep of this facility. My impression is that this is only the beginning of what we can expect in the future.

After reading reviews of this place before my scheduled colonoscopy/endoscopy screening I was pretty scared. But my experiences here were nothing but positive. They have a friendly caring thorough staff. There were no surprises as far as payment needed from me when I arrived. My waiting room time was minimal. The procedure went very smoothly and fast(I was out appx 2 hr after arriving), when I left I was given a printout with images of the screening along with the results, Phone Follow up with doctor and the center were professional. Dr. Chris Vesy was great… highly recommend him as GI Dr. and using Dallas Endoscopy for screening!

Be prepared to wait an hour, our debit card was charged twice, had to call their billing person twice and our bank for notification; took 3 days to see it fixed and the funds are deducted until then. Nice drink station with coffee, teas and hot chocolate. Nurse had trouble finding a vein, had to try twice before finding it… ouch.

Bring your credit card. Even if you’re an established patient with insurance, they want their money up front. If you have your credit card, the women at the front desk are wonderful and helpful. If you don’t have your card, watch out. Their world view is that if you don’t pre-pay, then you don’t plan to pay at all, even with patients they know. They’ll treat you like something they stepped in. And wipe you off publicly. The facility is owned by the doctors who do procedures there, so make of that what you will. The nursing staff and anesthesiologists are very kind and almost make up for the brutality at check in. Free parking and convenient location make it tempting, but it’s not worth it. I’ll gladly pay more to be treated better.
