When you are restoring a Mustang in your spare time you don’t always get to things as quickly as you may have originally planed. I was not sure which window regulator I needed so I ordered 2 different ones with the plan to return the wrong one. Turns out it was after 30 days so there was no discussion. The rep on the phone said if I had it more than 30 days no way I can return it. Its not like the part was going to go rancid or something.

This place blows. I don’t know everything about my mustang so I go to places like this. They talk down to you, and that’s once you get somebody to help to you. They lost two of my orders, I go directly to Cal-​mustang, yes I have to wait on what I need, but I get the right part and talk to someone who is helpful if there is problem.

found the exhaust system here at a decent price and decided to order it. you would think since your spending almost a grand with a company you could get some customer service two weeks later the exhaust isn’t here yet it was shipped from bassani according to them. bassani is located in California average shipping for ground two three days. I have asked for tracking info three times now and they still can’t seem to get it for me. I would steer clear of this place in the future. Talked to a local shop and they could have the exhaust in one day should have just bought it local!

Disappointing experience with Archie. Delivered my newly built 347 1989 GT convertible to him on a Saturday. He told me it would be done by Tuesday Wednesday, getting chip and dyno tune. He starts it up and fuel leaks from a couple fittings says he will have his guys look at it first thing Monday and let me know what it is. I called Tuesday after not hearing anything and he says he will let me know soon as he has a price. I got a call from them on Thursday saying my chip came in, they weren’t supposed to call me because my car was there. So I used that opportunity to ask for Archie and see whats going on. He says its running great should be anytime now. I called again today Tuesday over a week later and they haven’t even touched my car. Im picking my car up today with a local wrecker service and going elsewhere. Don’t lie to me. I asked for a manager and was told that was Archie, then was told the GM Hector could talk. He is a piece of work alright, customer is always wrong in his opinion. Don’t lie to me when my investment is in your hands. Ill be happy to take my business elsewhere.

Wife bought me a gift certificate online, now they wont let me use it unless I am in person and I live over 4 hours away. I say steer clear of these crooks. Horrible business practices.

Have you ever been to an auto store and the sales person knew more than you did? No? Well, then you’ve never been to Dallas Mustang. These guys know their parts better than Ford. I’m serious. I needed a backup switch for a 66 Mustang and I went to the local Ford dealer and the parts guy says, «I can’t look it up, those parts are on microfiche and we don’t have a machine to read it. You should try Dallas Mustang.»
I said, «That was where I was going next if you didn’t have it.»
So off I went. It’s actually next door to a place I used to work so I knew exactly where it was. I walked in and sat down on the stool.
«I need a backup switch and bracket for a 66 Mustang.»
Counter Guy: «3 or 4 speed?»
«3 speed.»
He shows me the picture.
«The one I was expecting has a zig-​zaggy bracket.»
Counter Guy: «That’s what the system tells me is for a 3 speed.»
He shows me the 4 speed bracket which is what I was expecting.
«That’s the one I thought I needed but if you say it’s for a 4 speed, then it’s not the one I need.»
So he sells me the sensor his system says is right and off I go. Turns out it’s exactly what I need. Had it installed and everything is working just like it should.

These people are terrible. Even after contacting their customer service with the hopes the staff would wake up, still nothing had changed (the manager was no better). I placed several large (over $ 1000 each) orders with them, and specified clearly in the comments for the order, «PLEASE SHIP ALL THE ITEMS TOGETHER, AND AS FAST AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT CHARGING EXTRA.» Apparently, they ignored these comments, and didn’t even bother to tell me what they did and didn’t have in stock. As a result, I contacted customer support asking for an explanation, and again nothing. I cancelled any outstanding orders, and switched to Mustangs Plus — much better. Maybe they got better, but with the lack of service I received, I will not be ordering from them again. What a shame, they had parts that were hard to find, and they lost a customer that places fairly large orders. Their loss.
