A native of Dallas-Fort Worth, Dr. Walters graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Pre Medicine Studies and Chemistry from Texas A&M University. He obtained his medical degree from University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Walters has been in private practice in Southwest Dallas for more than a decade, and is board certified in Family Medicine with a special interest in Sleep Medicine. Dr. Walters is a strong proponent of preventive medicine, including appropriate screenings and early diagnosis.
Dr. Walters and his wife live in Cedar Hill and have two sons. He enjoys spending time with his family and three dogs, attending church, and keeping up with current affairs. His hobbies include photography, hunting, and music.
