First of all, LOVED, that I was able to go online and schedule a consultation to speak with the stylist prior to making my appt. I’m new to the Dallas area and have been looking for someone local to start doing my sew-​ins. I made an appt with Tomeka in the middle of my work day. I work 20 mins away from the shop and prepared myself, and my boss, for me to be gone for 2 hrs (you know how it can be sometimes ;-)) I was pleasantly surprised to see Tomeka waiting in the front when I arrived so I was able to start my consultation on time. She greeted me with a smile and took me to the back to discuss what I was looking for.
I’ve never had the opportunity to sit with the stylist and explain my wants before my appt. They are typically too busy to make one on one time for their customers, but Tomeka prefers a consultation upfront and I think that is so smart. I was able to get her suggestions and recommendations and determine if she could do what I was looking for, although I was already confident because one of the reasons I booked with Tomeka is because I saw a pic of the exact style I wanted.
We went to the front to look at the various textures, styles, color and lengths of hair they sell in the shop, and there is ALOT. A very helpful young lady (sorry, I don’t remember her name) helped me for 15 mins to find the right hair that we could color and still produce the curl pattern I wanted to achieve. I was able to purchase the hair immediately and was provided a discount (Thank you, Jesus!) and booked my appt with Tomeka for June 7^th.
I enjoyed the professionalism and courtesy of everyone at the shop. The different hair you can purchase is impressive and you have the added bonus of getting the buy-​in from your stylist on the hair you’re purchasing for the style you want. I’ve seen a review indicating Tomeka has been rude. While I can’t speak to the customer’s experience, I can say that I expected an attitude because as we know, most good stylists tend to have one, but I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by Tomeka’s positive demeanor and would recommend her to anyone looking for a weave stylist in Dallas.

Beautiful place and very friendly associates. They have a large selection and it’s close to home. I will definitely be back.

I love DHair! They will change your entire hair experiences. The quality is amazing and authentic. They are not «cheap» how ever you get exactly what you pay for. Toii helped me out and gave me advice on each and every texture, length, etc. It was convenient to be able to drive locally and hand pick my bundles. No thinning, shedding, or tangling. This is the business! My go-​to.

As mentioned before, I’m sure DHair has quality products but Tomeka has a bad attitude. At the hair salon, I’m not only paying for the job BUT the experience as well. If I’m spending $ 400 on services I expect to RECEIVE a $ 400 experience. Not $ 10 in EBT.

First let me review Dhair Boutique:
The hair is AMAZING there is no doubt about it. the store is beautiful and i like how you can go in and hand pick your extensions and compare the different textures without having to take them out of that cheap plastic. I have never met the owner before but i have met Toii her assistant and she is extremely knowledgeable in any and everything Dhair boutique from picking out the perfect texture to how many bundles you’d need as well as what lengths to buy them in LOVE her! If you want the best hair that is still affordable you must shop here.
NOW to the review about Tomeka… i have no idea what the previous Unilocaler was talking about Tomeka is the best she made me feel extremely comfortable from the very moment I her at the salon. Tomeka was very easy to talk to and she slayed my custom color and lace closure install she was quick and professional and not once gave me attitude! Maybe your SISTERS situation was a one off but there is nothing ratchet about Tomeka or the experience i had at Dhair. I would recommend Tomeka to everyone she is bomb at what she does my only gripe is she is always booked ugggh but then again id expect nothing less!!!
