Tried it for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised! Great customer service and for a large slice of Brooklyn style pizza you can’t beat the price $ 1.35. Food was hot, tasty, and didn’t have to wait long. It was so good I left, then drove back an hr later for another slice :)

WOW! What a disappointment. Ate here before and it was good, cheap pizza. This time was a COMPLETELY different experience. Customer service was awful — we walked in and the lady just sat in a chair and stared at us like we had walked into her home, not a BUSINESS. After we finally got her to write down our order, after repeating it over ten times(no sarcasm), the pizza was terrible. I’m pretty sure there was no sauce on it and the ingredients still had the tin flavor of the can it came from. In the past the elotes have been amazing, but apparently you have to wait ’20 minutes’ for her to get off her butt and make you some. What a disappointment — will not be back based purely on the customer service The pizza box even has a different name on it and mentions chinese food.. .

Wow, I use to love Divino’s but it’s ridiculous now. After trying to explain multi times my address to the women who seemed to have much better things to do than help me, she told me it would be a 45min wait till I got my order.(I live 5mins away by car) Well, just shy of 2 hours later I get the pizza with raw toppings… It seemed like they had a cheese pizza laying around and remembered my order at the last second and threw toppings on then threw it in the oven for 5 min, because the bottom was slightly burnt. Oh and the«canadian bacon» was ham that was obviously cut into long strips from cheap sandwich meat. The only up side was the delivery guy being nice.

Holy crap, this place has amazing pizza. It’s that cheesy delicious thin crust NY style that you fold when you eat it. The guy that works there, I think it’s his in laws who own the place, is the nicest person and is so genuinely happy to talk to you. I haven’t tried rest of the Italian food yet but if it’s anything like the pizza, I’m guessing I’ll love it. Don’t let the slightly odd location deter you, totally worth it!

Gross blah and nothing I would ever eat again! The wings look and taste like Tyson wings in a box from the frozen section at the grocery store

This gem hidden in the heart of old East Dallas is a testament to great value and taste. I’ve been here twice now, and have been thrilled each time. I’m not very hard to please, but easy to piss off, I mean really easy. That being said, I had a hard time believing at first that these prices equaled good food. I was pleasantly surprised. On the first visit I got a medium 1 topping pizza for $ 8.00. Yes $ 8…and it’s 14 inches wide. Great size for the price. The toppings are $ 1, but you get a lot of them. Even the cans of Coke are only 75 cents; a good deal at a retail local… any retail local. On the second visit I had their lunch special(which was still on on a holiday. any other place would nix that on a holiday to make more money). It was 2 slices, with two toppings) and a Coke for $ 4.25. That’s a value deal in my book(see the pic I put in this review and you’ll agree). I spoke with the owner(yes the owner is in the store and runs the place); he’s been in business 23 years. These prices are low, especially with inflation; that’s a great testament to his business plan. I’m a fan, and I’ll continue to go back!

An east Dallas staple. We’ve ordered pizza from them for years. The crust is perfect and the prices are great. Would always recommend.

Best pizza ever and pretty reasonably priced! They’re quick too. I’ve never had issues with employees not understanding me over the phone or inconsistent pricing.

Best corn in town! Better the fuel city. Everyone is so nice here! Family owned and operated.

Used to like this place because they had decent food on the cheap but the last few times I’ve ordered the prices aren’t what they reflect on the online or grub hub menus, everything I order went up 1 – 3 dollars so for the extra cash I’ll take my $ elsewhere, it was nothing to write home about to begin with. Also, there’s a certain lady who answers the phones that needs to work on her customer service skills.

If it was possible to give a zero, I would give a zero. My order was 2 hours late, entirely wrong, and the manager could not have cared less. There is no such thing as customer service here.

Amazing pizza. Not expensive at all. Really good/fast delivery. This is the only pizza place out of the 50 around me that I will call. Soooo delicious

I’ve been eating Divino’s for years. The plain cheese pizza, which is usually boring at most places, is outstanding here. And cheap! If calling in, be prepared to repeat yourself at least 8 times. I don’t know if they have cotton balls glued to the ear part of their phone receiver or what, but regardless of who answers, they will not be able to hear you. Back to the food, I’ve also had the calzone and stromboli. Order those only if you’re calcium deficient or just craving a pound of cheese.

I’ve been enjoying Divino’s long before they jumped to the other side of Gaston. I do recommend picking it up yourself as their delivery CAN take too long. But this is great, truly NY-style pizza for ½ the price of other local pizza shops. Family owned, friendly(limited English — but hey, its true East Dallas — embrace it!). Do yourself and your wallet a favor and give it a try!

Best pizza I’ve tried that is not a chain store. Pizza is perfect for my family of 3. Calzone is so good as well and huge. Prices are really inexpensive. Love the service.

I usually order a cheese pizza from Divines about twice a month. Got my usual today and I noticed a distinctive taste. It was like blue cheese or something. Then I took a good look at the pizza and saw green specks in the cheese. That’s when I recognized the taste. It was moldy cheese. Will not be going back to Divines ever again. Would take the star back but it made me chose at least one.

I’m still amazed at how cheap this place is. I finally used them for delivery not too long ago and got a large pepperoni pizza for $ 10. I can eat on that thing for three or four meals. They have an elotes cart set up outside, and I’ve gone to it a couple of times. I guess during cold nights they keep the elotes stuff inside. It’s not the best elotes in town, like they don’t have fresh corn, but hey it works in an elotes pinch. Just make sure home girl doesn’t forget the hot sauce.

The pizza was good, a little greasy but good. The pasta was good too. I asked for Canadian bacon and received ham that looked like it was suppose to be on a sandwich not my pizza!!! They are really cheap a slice of pizza is less than $ 2.00 and my pasta was 6.00 and came with a salad and bread.

The guy on the phone couldn’t understand English, couldn’t hear me. WHAT? No we don’t have that topping. WHAT? No we don’t have a menu online. WHAT? Pesto? What is that? WHAT? No artichokes. No Coke Pepsi blah blah blah. So I speak slowly and order a basic pepperoni and mushroom. The delivery guy was completely nice and polite. The pizza was delivered fast. Too fast: the crust was undercooked and doughy and raw-ish. I’ve never had a pizza with raw dough before — apparently every pizza joint on the planet except Divino’s has pizza cooking time nailed(kinda basic if you are in the business of making pizzas). If, hypothetically speaking, you have no teeth and need to gum your dinner to bits, REJOICE: this is the pizza for you. Otherwise ick. Amount of toppings and cheese were both fine. Sauce was very bland: could not detect any garlic, basil, or other flavors. Small hint of pepper from the pepperoni. Price was cheap for a large pizza: $ 12. Basically, I feel like I ate a gummy raw dough bread bomb. Definitely not doing this again till all my teeth fall out.

I’ve ordered takeout, and live nearby, so their estimates of delivery time are always vastly over what it actually takes. Typically I hang up the phone and moments later the dude is at my door. The pizza is good — nyc style. Not too thick and not too chewy(Zini’s is too chewy). The toppings are ample, and priced accordingly. Their delivery minimum is $ 10. I also got garlic bread last time(no cheese), and it was okay, but the garlic only spanned the middle of the length of the roll. The medium pizza can easily feed 4(2 slices per person). The pizza can get a bit soggy if you leave it in the box and don’t wiggle it around to reduce the cheese drainage in the middle. The folks who work at Divino’s are easy for me to understand, but for some reason they can never figure out what I’m trying to say. I don’t think I have a horrible lisp or weird accent, but at any rate, despite the frustration of the communication difficulty, my order still arrives at my door correct.
