History

Established in 1988.

Beginning as a neighborhood Dallas florist on Lovers Lane, Dr Delphinium has grown to include three locations throughout the metroplex. Dr Delphinium offers a new collection of artistic floral designs every season to give customers the freshest, and most seasonal blooms, in a variety of styles. Over the years Dr Delphinium has expanded its services to include a Wedding & Events team, and Corporate Flower and Interior Landscaping team.

In the last 10 years, Dr Delphinium has broadened its offerings to include a specialty line of preserved and dried flowers and designs called Preserved Art. Also available are selected gifts and luxury gift baskets both in-​stores and online.

In 2013, Dr Delphinium purchased Gunter’s Greenhouse in Richardson TX and have since renamed it Dr Delphinium Flower & Orchid House. This makes Dr Delphinium the largest provider of orchids in North Texas with a 10,000 sq/​ft greenhouse housing over 15,000 orchid plants.

Charles Ingrum, Owner and operator of Dr Delphinium Designs & Events, has hired a talented team of designers, event coordinators, customer service representatives, and growers. He has a hand in every step of the floral design process: from visiting growers all over the world, to determining seasonal offerings, and finally creating 5-​star customer service policies.
