In 1922 Edward D. Jones Sr. founded the financial-​services firm that bears his name. Current global Managing Partner James D. Weddle strongly believes in the firm’s ability to grow and continue to bring personal investment services to an ever-​increasing number of individual investors in suburban and rural communities.

In 1994, Edward Jones opened its first Canadian branch, bringing Bay Street to Main Street in cities and towns across Canada. The firm currently has more branch-​office locations than any other brokerage in North America. Edward Jones Canada is led by managing principal, David Lane.
