Food is so good and reminds me of the same type of food served in México City. Everything we ordered was fresh and good portions. The salsas had a good flavor and the waiter was pleasant and attentive to all our needs.

Service is always great. Waitresses constantly checking on you. I’ve done eat in and take out and the service is quick. The food is great and super affordable! Can’t go wrong. No fish options that would be the only downside, but still great!

ZTrue Mexican freshness, not overly salted greasyTxMessiness. Everything tastes and looked great. So clean, no crumb, no sticky s/p bottles or condiment containers and our server Ricardo was fantastic. And attentive and accommodating– we are vegetarian. They also have serve the rarely found and so yummy«café de olla.» It is not some bitter or sweetie overly priced concoction. It was superb! The prices are reasonable and the clientele knows this isn’t just some other hip taco spot. We will go back even though it’s a little bit far for us. Only four stars because we want them in Lakewood :0 Thanks for a great meal and conscientious service.

This was my first visit here and I’m mad that I waited so long to come here. This place is well worth the visit if you like a good Torta. I ordered a torta of pastor and the bread was so soft and the meat tender and delicious. The order was placed and the wait time minimal. I will be back to try another of the many items they have to offer soon when I’m back in the area.

Went to grab some tacos after an ER visit next door. Got some chicken tacos asked for cheese and sour cream. The sour cream was runny and the waiter said it wasn’t actually sour cream, but like sour cream. Well, it actually wasn’t sour cream but some sort of cooking cream they use for other things. Tacos were ok, but better without their«just like» sour cream.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast, while my car was being worked on across the street. It was pretty quite, so I got a bit nervous eating here. The staff were very kind and inviting. They serve a bowl of amazing black beans as soon as you sit down. I order the breakfast tacos in chorizo! They were so delicious! Not too greasy s d tons of flavor! The tacos are served with refried black beans and potatoes. All seasoned perfectly. It was warm and delicious! The horchata was great too and had a dusting of cinnamon on top!!! My only complaint is that the order was small!!! Really small. I’m used to bigger tacos I guess. Delicious food and great service! Come get you some!

What’s up with the stingyness? Every weekend I come for the Menudo and they are always out by the time I get here! Something fishy?

I’m torn as to how many star’s to give this place. I decided to dine alone today which is fine but unfortunately none of the servers wanted to take the party of one. I was greeted at the door and sat promptly and within seconds had a cup of black bean soup on my table. The servers kept looking at me but none came to my table. I counted and it took 12 minutes before anyone came to take my drink order. I did see two of the servers discussing as to which one was going to help me. You can tell neither really wanted to. This is disappointing. Putting my feelings about the service aside my rating is based on the food. The black bean soup presented at the beginning of the meal was delicious. I ordered the menudo, a traditional Mexican stew. I have had menudo at more places than I can count and this place serves one of the top 3 that I’ve ever had in Dallas! Rich and full of flavor, served with fresh lime, chopped jalapeños, fresh diced onion, fresh cut cilantro, oregano, and two types of spicy sauce. This place really knows it’s menudo and despite the awkward service I’m hooked. Absolute perfection!

The food here was super good! I loveed the brisket tacos! Absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a very good feel to it and the ambiance is very nice. The margaritas are very very good and there’s a good variety to choose from. Would very much recommend this restaurant and for anyone who really likes Mexican restaurants I would definitely say check this place out.

Oh yeah this place is legit reminds me of a little taco shop in Mexico City if I ever been to Mexico City. They serve black beans instead of chips and salasa which I think is better because the beans are amazing. Tacos and good and clean when I mean clean I mean no fat. But my favorite is the tortas they are awesome try the house torta it comes with melaneza which is a breaded steak. And you can’t go wrong with a 20 oz Michelada with your choice of beer.

Consistently good food, drinks, and service. And it’s open late and reasonably priced. I really enjoy this place.

Everything on this menu is wonderful and made from fresh ingredients. For anyone looking for an authentic Mexican experience, you’ve gotta come give this place a try. What I’m currently obsessed with on their menu right now: Michelada: pick from your fav draft beer on tap, they mix in: Key lime juice, clamato, salted rim, all over ice. I additionally add: opinions, lime & cilantro from the lazy Suzan the drop on every table. So perfect and refreshing with all the hot summer weather right now!

Love coming to this place! The food is great and the service is outstanding. The tacos al pastor are really good, has a great unique flavor, and don’t forget to get the margaritas. The tamarindo or the guayaba margarita!

I think this a great place for a low key cinco de mayo celebration. The staff is sooo attentive and provides great service. I really enjoyed the ambience here as well. I really enjoyed the texture of their homemade chips. It’s not too thin or not too thick and the crispy was perfection. I liked the different salsas but I’m more of a chunky salsa kinda girl. Gloria’s probably has my most favorite salsa in Dallas. I also had the chicken and bean on a chip which was the best thing they had there. I definitely recommend getting this! It was soooo good! I had the chicken floutas and cheese quesadillas which was forgettable. Overall, this is a good joint to get your fix if ur in the area!

I love the location of this place as it is in a relatively newly constructed, commercial building with apartments above it and it remains to stay clean inside and out. The staff is always friendly and the sitting area is plentiful as well as a nice area to sit at the bar. Their specialty drinks are made with great flavor and balance — my favorite is the tamarind margarita. Their food is also very good and tends to lean a bit more on the authentic Mexican flavor and then the Tex-Mex, which is what I would anticipate from this location. It doesn’t get too crowded during lunch or dinner whether it’s during the week or the weekend, which makes it nice not having to fight the crowd to enjoy a good meal and good drinks.

For what it is, this place well warrants five stars. It’s cheap, the food and drinks are awesome, and the service is spot on. I came here last night, with a craving for Mexican food but not wanting to spend a lot. The actual restaurant is located in a strip mall off of Lemmon with apartment buildings above it. It’s clean and modern looking on the inside. When it was time to order margaritas, I was curious about how the tamarind margarita and the server told me that he would bring me a sample. When he returned, not only did he bring a sample of the tamarind, but also a sample of the original and the guava. All were really delicious, so it was hard to decide. What I liked about the margaritas was that they were overpowered by sweetness and they are only 6 dollars. I would come back here just to have margaritas and chips. Mmmmm. For food, I ordered the sampler taco plate. I’m not sure the name, but it had four tacos(pollo, brisket, pastor, and bistec) and a baby quesadilla. It was delicious and under 10 dollars. There were also extras that were included in the meal: black bean soup and a salsa platter that contained limes, onions, cilantro, and two awesome salsas. My only suggestion would be complimentary chips and salsa instead of the bean soup. This place was a great find!

The free bean soup is the best thing not on the menu. My favorite is La Gringa, the goat and cheese tacos. Caution with the great salsa tray… the red and green are a bit hotter than most. If you can’t decide they have a sampler plate of tacos.

The portions are very small, but everything was tasty, the Choriqueso I’d say it’s a entrée and not an appetizer, but it was delicious, guacamole very expensive and very little, the place was very clean. I would say it’s not authentic Mexican food but their best intent.
