Like I’ve seen in other reviews, its the best in the building. I’m not sure if that’s still great or not considering the building is a hospital and this place has quite a few high sodium items. I appreciate the options of grains like brown rice and quinoa over other carbohydrate sources, but I don’t consume a lot of sodium and I could taste it in the food here. I save this for when I wake up late and can’t pack my lunch.

Okay, the food is not THAT great. But, as far as the food options go in the Baylor Medical Center complex, this is the healthiest and even more affordable option. The only other option available in the medical center is this cafeteria they have in the basement — and it’s not that great. For that reason, Freshii stands out well. Funny though, that Freshii would end up serving healthier food options than the hospital cafeteria. Kinda ironic. Anyways, this location is clean, has a patio, and is more modern. I liked the ambience at this location(even though it’s inside a hospital) more than the Freshii downtown.

I came in here after taking some x-rays in need of a late lunch… I was thinking smoothie. I had never been here and walked in with low expectations. Ya know, I mean hospital café… i totally prejudged. Low and behold, after I perused the menu I was thrown a proposition by that little voice in my head after it read the words juice cleanse… hmmm…I kinda need to reset so to speak… why not. Me, being the impulsive consumer that I am decided to dive into the 5 day juice cleanse. It costs $ 120. I thought the price was pretty good. I mean sure you could make them yourself but since I don’t have a juicer this will do for now. I did a quick Google search and the price seemed to be way way lower than what others charge. so hey. .smart purchase declared. The cleanse comes with 4 juices a day and a salad for dinner. I actually like all of the juices except the beet juice one. I also like that the location is pretty convenient for me. The juices last for 2 days so I am able to pick up again very easily. Oh and let me not forget to rave about their Lemongrass soup. It was my last meal before my juice cleanse. I added chicken. It was so good! So far the customer service has been amaze-balls today. Kudos young ladies!!! Even on the return visit, the young lady remembered me and had my juices ready for pickup. I really like this place and see it as another option even if I am not in the building for some other reason. Oh and they brew Community Coffee, my fav!!! I look forward to trying out the rest of their menu!

Good food, but we came in an hour before closing and no tea. They had to go get it from the back. My moms tea taste like it was sitting out all day and the girls working seemed like they weren’t interested in working, just closing up so they could leave.
