This place was pretty good. It’s your standard taco shack fare, and is pretty comparable to El Si Hay. You won’t find a helotes cart, however. I came all the way to Gordo’s because they were the closest place I found on Unilocal that had breakfast tacos, and they did not disappoint. I wouldn’t come too far out of my way to get these tacos, but if you’re in the area and are craving street tacos you won’t go wrong at all. Please note, this place is CASHONLY.

This isn’t going to dethrone El Tacaso as my morning taco fix, but it’s super close to work and does right by lunch. It’s just down the street from work and is a welcomed change from the Wendy’s and McDonald’s that are sitting around here. A little, brightly colored building with a walk up window. The breakfast tacos are good, cheap, and tasty. Not my favorite on the block, but there’s good stuff going on. Tortas, however, are great. I’ve been getting beef lately. It’s seasoned very well. The avocado slices are creamy and fresh and even the tomatoes are looking pretty good. Salsa comes liberally in little containers and it’s pretty tasty as well. There’s no pricing on the menu, so I just kinda guess my way around what everything. I don’t think I’ve broken eight bucks yet. That was a torta and two tacos. Not too shabby.
