Great Clips

Bad experience today. She did not even clean hair on me. I wont give even a single star if there is am option.

I don’t appreciate getting my hair cut and listening to the hair dresser next to us rant about the confederate flag. Maybe we should just get out hair cut and not talk about politics. It was little ridiculous and I honesty don’t know if I’ll ever be back to a great clips because of those.

When he started looking like a girl, I took my teenage son here for a haircut and when we left, he had locks that had been missed. They were one-​three inches longer than the other hair next to them! When he got in the car, he ran his hands through his hair and handfuls of cut hair fell out. Apparently, they didn’t comb his hair while or after cutting it. I’ve never seen such a thing! It was horrible. We went right back in to have it redone and they played it off like all haircuts have handfuls of loose cut hair left in them (as a cook, I’d estimate about 1.5 cups of hair). Someone else fixed it, but no one ever apologized or offered anything extra for the trouble.

Sabrina did an AMAZING job on my hair. She truthfully gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had (and trust me, I’ve had a lot — from both chop shops like Great Clips and professional salons like T & G). She kept my layers long, framed my face perfectly, and even showed me all the spots where the last hair dresser messed up. Sabrina also gave me some really good product recommendations for my hair type, and took the time to double-​check her work when she was finished to make sure everything turned out perfect. I will never go to another Great Clips again so long as Sabrina works at this one, and, if she ever leaves, I’m going with her. No joke.
The other woman who cut my husband’s hair (I think her name was Darlene) did an OK job, but could have done better. She left it somewhat longer than we wanted, and it looked a bit choppy on the sides. If Sabrina is there tonight, we’re probably going to go back and see if she can fix it up a bit.

Sabrina is now the only person my husband uses too. I think it’s fair to say that I’m very picky about my hubby’s hair, and she does it perfectly every time. We never go to anyone else.

The stylist that was doing my 4 year old daughters hair quit working at Great Clips. Went back to have it done by someone else and they completely messed it up. I had to ask another stylist to make it better and she helped it a little. Now we will be waiting about a month for a bad Inverted-​bob haircut to grow out, then go somewhere else to get it fixed.

I walked in and Eliza greeted me warmly, knew what style would look best, and kept great conversation with me while she did the cutting. Great customer service! I’m definitely coming back.

$ 14 a cut?! Great for ppl on a budget, like me, and I have been to other locations and have had great stylists every time.

This was one of the worst experiences in a salon that I have ever had. First, there were only 2 stylists on a Saturday. There were a few other customers before me and the woman stylist finished every one of them while the man was working on 1 person. I was next to be served and the phone rang. The woman answered it and went to the back for several minutes while I was STILL waiting and waiting. In the meantime, the man stylist was still working on the same man. When the woman came back, she ignored me and checked in another customer who had come in while she was in the back and then proceeded to do his hair instead of mine. So, I was stuck with the slowest stylist in history. I should have spoken up, but I didn’t.
Well, my haircut is absolutely the worst I have ever had and he was taking so long that I felt like screaming! Never, never, never go to this place! I found out later the same day that my husband and sister had gone there and had similar experiences.
Wow, all I can say is what a way to run a business.

Kate is a great stylist been seeing her for over a year now. I have been in on days she has been off gotten a cut and regretted it. Giving this place 4 stars and they are all for her…

In general, I don’t expect much from «chop shops» like Great Clips. All I needed was a 2 on a fourth of my head. I was in the area and just decided to get that part shaved again. Seriously, I think I could have done it myself, but they still charged me full price. Any other well established salon would have done it for free. Lesson learned here!

I would not recommend this place to be honest. I have gone twice and have had mixed reviews. The first time I went one of the ladies cut my hair and did a pretty nice job (I get a fade and have them go from a ½ to a 3 and ½, standard guy haircut). It wasn’t anything special but she cut my hair right.
The last time I went was terrible. I was greeted by a girl who sat me down and asked what I wanted. When I told her, she walked away and a different girl came out and moved me to a different chair (I guess the first girl didn’t know how to cut a fade?). I told her what I wanted and she didn’t think my hair was long enough for a 3 and ½ on top so she ran the clippers through my hair with the bit on it, but did not turn on the clippers. As the clippers yanked out my hair, she figured out that my hair was more than long enough.
After cutting my hair the first time, I found that there were several spots that were very uneven and it looked patchy. She said she noticed it but didn’t do anything about it until I saw it (did she just want to see if she could get away with me not noticing?). She cleaned it up a bit more and when she was done the haircut looked ok at best. I used to cut my hair on a regular basis and what she did was at the level of what I could have done on my own. I go to a place to get a great cut, not just something that I could do at home.
I would not recommend this place. After 2 times there I won’t be going back for a 3^rd. Good thing hair grows back and I can get this redone somewhere else afterwards.

Went back again for another hair cut. Got the same stylist, and everything was amazing again. Very quick and I got exactly what I wanted: shorter hair.
Highly recommended. Best place I’ve ever been for haircuts.

I went in to get hair cut and Nancy was assigned to me to cut my hair. It hair cut only took 10 minutes. Literally. Overall experience was never good, I actually thought she never learn how to cut hair.
I told her how I wanted my hair to be done and even in the middle of cutting my hair, I gave more instruction. All of them was taken lightly by her. She never took my request seriously and went ahead with her own perspective of my request. She pulled my hair very hard that it hurts my scalp. Also, while she’s making a conversation with me, she would hit my arm. She tried to be nice and everything but little did she know that she hit me too hard for a friendly gesture.
Hair cut like this cost me $ 14 (excluding tips). I can get it for $ 5 (tips included) in some Chinatown. It’s not the level of service I expected. Very not recommended.

The only person I see here is Kate. Why? She is always sweet and always cuts my hair right.
I like this place because it’s pretty nice and not old looking like the other GC’s
The only reason they get 4 stars is Kate. So she better not leave. It took me a while to find her after my last hair girl got pregnant.
