Awesome establishment! First of all, I’m a Greek-American on a business trip in Dallas from Boston and I am absolutely pleased that I found this place. The food here is absolutely amazing. If great food isn’t enough of an incentive to drop everything you’re engaged with and rush to this restaurant, then the friendly staff will do it! You must try this out. I will definitely be going back before I leave! 5 Stars! Keep up the good work guys and thank you!

The food is absolutely phenomenal, great location and outstanding service. If you’re looking for some great Greek food, this place is it… My family and friends love it here. The same goes to their Plano location… Awesome service and quality food…

After having eaten at the original Greek Isles in Plano for years I was excited to have one closer to home. Unfortunately, I will be driving farther to go back to Plano. Although this restaurant has a nice ambiance with an attentive wait staff both of our dinners were horrible. The Moussaka was dry and tasted like it had been made days earlier. My lamb shank was so gamey I ate of total of three bites, however my dogs loved it. Lamb is my favorite meat and if this had been the first time I had eaten it, I would probably never eat it again. I know these are owned by brothers and supposedly use the same recipes, but not tonight.

I stumbled upon this place… And I am beyond impressed. They let me in 20 min early, and the bloody Mary’s are amazing. I will be back!

Being new to Texas, we wanted to find a great little Greek restaurant. This one is it! Dropped in for lunch and started with the spanakopita. DE-licious. I had the house salad with gyro meat and wow. it was outstanding. My wife had the pita with gyro meat and it was also very tasty. Rounded it off with baklava which made for a perfect finish. Seems to be family owned/operated and so with it comes attention to the customer and a focus on quality. We will be back!

EATHERE. The soup is divine, the pita with dip sampler is delicious. Don’t let the mix of potato and fish eggs throw you off, the dip is really good. he couple that owns it is very hospitable and super nice. The soup is under-rated for how good it is. I’ll be back for the soup. Seriously. That soup tho. Also I ordered veal lemonati. And it’s super good.

My sister and I were in Dallas the weekend before her heart surgery and we wanted to find a good Greek restaurant since we both love Greek food. We found this amazing gem and were thrilled with the service and the food!!! Very authentic Greek food with great portions. The waitress Erica was fabulous. She was actually the Daughter in Law to the owner of the restaurant and she brought us a special treat, Baklava French Toast… AHHHHAMAZING!!! But you can only get these on Sundays but they made it special for us. Next time we are in the area we will come back!!!

Dolmas were obviously microwaved and weren’t seasoned at all. I hoped for a good meal of gyros, house salad and refreshing dolmas. The gyro was generously piled with lamb but the meal was bland. The servers were attentive at first but once we finished our meal we were waiting for forty minutes until we saw a waiter so we could get the check. They gave us a dessert which was nice and tasted good but I wasn’t able to make up for microwaved food, nothing makes up for that.

This place is a wonderful hidden place in Preston Hollow! I went there with a friend and the pita wraps were amazing! Very affordable but the quality was unreal!

I’ve been here only twice for lunch, but am a definite fan of this place. I was amazed that the dining room wasn’t full and was surprised that only two or three tables had patrons. I imagine they do most of their business in the evening since it’s in a more residential than business-oriented area. The service is really good and the menu is great. I love the original gyros — I always take half of the meat out and take it to go because the gyro is stuffed with tons of meat. The fries are good, too. I adore the hummus here! Best in town that I’ve had. Nice and garlicky, wonderful texture and flavor. And the fresh, warm pita bread that’s served with it is great. Getting your entrée may take awhile. Even though we were in the restaurant alone we had to wait 15 or 20 minutes after we ordered. But it’s definitely worth the wait. Wish this place was closer to my house. We’d be here once a week if it was!

After reading the reviews I was hopeful to find a buried Greek gem in my neighborhood. I’m a big fan of Greek fare dating back to childhood memories of «The Torch» on Davis. My party arrived early for the dinner hour with only one other table in the restaurant occupied. The hostess motioned for us to sit next to the occupied table even though the place was empty. She did pick up on our negative response and said, «you can sit anywhere,» which we did. I was eager for my sister-in-law to sample the flaming cheese, it was — okay, nothing to write home about. I wasn’t all that hungry, but my companions were. I think they had a better impression overall. The Avoglomeno soup was a bit thick for my liking(hard to beat Kostas), the Spanikopita a tad on the greasy side. The other orders included pork tenderloin souvlaki and a veal dish in tomato based sauce. The veal received raves, the souvlaki was a large portion, enough to have take home. The custard dessert is more like bread pudding and was tasty. The Baklava ice cream was the best thing I had all evening. Was not impressed with the service at all, the food was okay, but I think next time I have a hankering for Greek, I’ll make the trek to Greenville Ave and visit the tried and true Kostas.

The food was amazing! The staff was more accommodating than anywhere I’ve ever visited. They went out of their way to guarantee a pleasurable experience. They made a special sampler platter to allow us try different foods with our first experience. The wait staff was prompt and friendly. What a warm, inviting and friendly environment! A must try!!!

We waited over 30 minutes for our food and watched as everyone around us got seated after us and served before us. They brought us the wrong food and had to go back to the kitchen. When the food finally came out, mine was cold and flavorless, amd my friends pork was so tough the knife could barely cut through! My husband had the shrimp and that tasted good. Overall, we will not be back. The food was not worth the price and the wait was ridiculous.

Delicious food, great friendly services… I had the pork and shrimp souvlaki and it was fantastic… the small greek salad that accompanied it was fresh and wonderful… we declined the dessert because we were full but the brought a baklava anyway, insisting we try it on the house… wow…that was yummy too… I guess you can see I highly recommend the place.

My mother and her friends love Greek Isles and Mom was looking forward to meeting there for a late lunch on Saturday, not realizing the restaurant closes between lunch and dinner service. The manager generously offered to serve us lunch despite being closed and saved the day. The food was delicious, the portions more than generous, and the manager made us feel as welcome as if we were his first customers. I highly recommend a trip to Greek Isles for the food and the service.

My little get away spot on lunch break. Very good lunch options with savory flavors. It’s a great place to choose if you want something other than American food! My Gyro was delightful, the staff was warm and punctual.

A++++. Last Saturday was our first visit, and it did not disappoint. Server was incredibly attentive and kind to our party of 5(grandmother, and family) They accommodated food allergies and they food was so so delicious. I had the blackened tilapia and a greek salad. Don’t neglect the dessert menu — the baklava was heavenly!

The food was good 4+ star. Service was terrible does not even deserve 1 star. Waiter did not write down our order. I asked for no feta on my salad, can’t do dairy — ended up with feta anyway & no service to be had, so I had to try & eat around it. Food was good, parking was easy. Will try other Greek restaurants before coming back. Would have loved to try the baklava but the waiter was ignoring our table so badly we thought we would be waiting forever. We literally spent 2 hours in the restaurant & did not order appetizers. Spent all of 20 minutes at most eating, the remaining time was waiting. Disappointed.

Excellent food and service. We went for Mother’s Day and all the women were given beautiful single roses and either a free glass of champagne or a Mimosa. Very thoughtful! All of us got different entrees which we loved(Tilapia, Beef tenderloin, Chicken with lemon sauce). Dolmas are outstanding as is the custard and Baklava ice cream(yum!) dessert. Love this restaurant! Reasonably priced food and alcohol(excellent house wines). Comfortable seating, enjoyable evening. Highly recommend.
