Laurel McConkey has been playing the harp and singing professionally for over 30 years. Her beautiful music is perfect for weddings, receptions, cocktail parties, dinners, luncheons, teas, open houses, funerals, and other special occasions. With a repertoire that ranges from Bach to Broadway to Beatles to Bollywood and beyond, your guests are sure to enjoy their favorite melodies and be talking about your special event long after it is over.

History

Established in 1981.

Laurel has played for over 1000 weddings, as well as numerous parties and other special events. She performed regularly at Laurels Restaurant, Omni Hotel Park West, Melrose Hotel, The Ashton Hotel and other venues, as well as performing in area orchestras and churches. She has performed live on radio stations KLUV 98.7, KZPS 92.5 and satellite radio — The Zoo, and twice on television station WFAA Channel 8 for the morning program «The Why Guy». As a singer Laurel has performed with The Dallas Opera, The Fort Worth Opera, the Dallas Symphony Chorus, Music Theater of Wichita, Musicana Dinner Theater and toured nationally in «A Christmas Carol».
