This salon is awful! Worst nexgen ever waaaay over priced. First time… should’ve stayed with my regular salon. I was very clear what I wanted they said they could do, they were out of 3 of the colors (most popular) they advertised, tried to upsale me by $ 25 extra for acrylic! My nails are crooked, completely uneven and I had stressed importance as I have a wedding to attend this weekend! I have the ugliest pedi and nails ever!!! Staff was friendly but obviously not experienced with current fashion nail trends!

Don’t go here! This salon is so deceptive. I received a mailer for 20% off any service at this specific location so I used it on a «classic pedicure» when I went to check out and gave her the coupon she said «$ 27 is your total». I gave her $ 34 for the tip + service. I then looked online to see what their menu is because I thought the pedicure I chose was $ 30, which would have made my total $ 24. I was correct. It was indeed $ 30 and with 20% off it should have been $ 24. It’s so disappointing when salons offer coupons but want to screw you over. Don’t offer them if you can’t honestly give them! I know it’s only a couple dollars difference but, come on. She didn’t even print me a receipt probably because she knew she was lying about the total price.

I walked in and they were playing great Christian music which was encouraging!
Also, this place is huge and very friendly. They have tons of nail color choices.
I would definitely go back!

Nails and pedicures are typically not a relaxing experience for me, they are maintenance. Because of this, Im usually in a hurry when I go here, and ask that my nails be done as quick as possible. Nina is great, and does my nails-​while I always request Doug for my pedicure. He’s excellent also. Extremely clean place. I am a major germaphobe and this place passes my test. Friendly staff and they are not obnoxious and loud like many places I have been that make it impossible to relax. Affordable, very clean facility and quality service. I like this place so much that I am willing to fight the worst parking war in the park cities otherwise known as Preston center, because I know I will leave satisfied.

Went here today and left with a good NexGen manicure however was not happy with the service at all. The lady I got had a pissy attitude and kept jerking my hands around. Also why is it that I’m paying 40 $ for NexGen but do not get cuticle treatment, hand massage or neck massage that my friend got who paid 18 $ for a regular manicure? No sense. Probably won’t go back here

The best place for mani/​pedi. Great people who do a great job. Friendly and relaxing, great environment. Would highly recommend. Latest in trends.

You will love this nail salon! Great people, fast and always consistent no matter what! I have been going to this salon for 4 years and have always enjoyed every encounter! Ask for Lynda (nails) and Nina (frets) both are fantastic! Now they have drinks for a even more relaxing time.

Idiots. Went in and asked owner for REFLEXOLGY for 30 min. The OWNER said ok.
Hubby and I ended up in separate rooms. And we’re told to strip– here is a towel.
For our feet !!!
No one understands English. Finally got it through to someone what we wanted — it’s on their sign in the window.
Will never come back.

I stopped going to my other usual nail place because they rushed through my not-​so-​cheap services and it was upsetting. I am glad I made the switch because the ladies here are so nice and they take their time. The chairs are good and the place isn’t loud which I like.

This place is always packed on the weekend but your bet to not have to wait if you go during the day in the middle of the week. All their color selections especially for Gel are vast but it’s a hit or miss for the technician that does your nails. They have gone through several changes of ownership and I’m not pleased with how service keeps going downhill. There are too many options to get your nails done around the area to provide bad or mediocre service.
When I came during the weekend the technician seem to be in a hurry to get me in and out. I don’t feel so rushed when it’s not busy but I feel the service should be the same regardless. Prices are good but again I’m not sure if it’s worth sacrificing service.

I visited this nail salon last Friday feb 13, 2015, only to have the WORST experience ever. I wanted a simple nail service with polish and eye brow wax. The whole time I kept being asked for add-​on «you want massage? You need paraffin wax treatment» etc… In addition the nail polish color I picked out the lady said it wasn’t nice and selected a new color because it would make my nails look «longer» though I didn’t want it. Most of the issue was language barrier. Omg horrible. Then she tells me the amount I must tip. Kept telling me I must tip the eyebrow lady «five dollar». «You give her five dollar». «Five dollar». Meanwhile I already paid my bill PLUS tip which apparently wasn’t good enough. At one point I told the nail polish lady she was not to dictate my tip amount. Oh and the kicker — I took the horrible color she insisted I get off about 4 hours after my visit — Ugh what a waste of money. I do not recommend this penny pinching place. Oh and while I am having my horrible treatment a customer came in to purchase a gift card and the clerk was insisting she get $ 100. The customer got $ 50 instead. Crazy. I will never ever go back. #pennypinchers #

I see Jeff & Touché every time I do my gel manicures. I used to be a salon jumper and went wherever it was convenient. I finally found someone who takes their time doing my nails, shapes them, trims my cuticles well and even helps me pick the perfect color. The staff is always very nice and accommodating. A massive amount of colors to choose from & always VERY clean. I enjoy every experience when I come here.. I am very picky and they always are willing to go that extra mile. Need another layer of polish to make the color just right? SURE NO PROBLEM! Need some sparkle on top to make it extra special? SURE NO PROBLEM! Need them shaped just a tad bit more? SURE NO PROBLEM! I love these guys & will continue to come.

Last minute appointment and I met with Vivian. The ambiance there is nice.
Had a fast pedicure. I don’t know how she moved so fast and made it seem slow and relaxing but she did. I had the softest heels and precise shaped nails. Cuticle clipped right. Nails polished right.
I do think it is a bit expensive for a spa pedicure. Instead a of normal 18.00, it was 29.00. Will only visit there about every two months for that price.

I love this family owned salon with Linda and Vivian being my favorites.
The salon is spacious, clean and very well kept.
My best part of my experience is the shoulder massage that comes with your manicure, so relaxing.
They also specialize in nail art which is amazing if you want some fun artwork on your nails.
I highly recommend Hollywood nails in Preston Center– you will be very pleased.

I always enjoy my lunchtime pedicures here. They’re professional, courteous, do a great job, have std pricing, and welcome walk ins (I don’t usually wait more than a few minutes). Lovely!

Worst nail experience of my life. I would not have even chosen this place but my husband gave me a gift certificate. The girls who did my nails were absolutely clueless. They looked better when I walked in than when I left. I would strongly urge you to go to another nail salon.

I’m going to be completely honest, I was highly agitated my whole time getting my nail polish changed here. It’s not entirely their fault, I was in a rush and the lady doing my nails was oblivious to any and everything going on around her. She kept having to go to the back and get things. She forgot a nail file. Walk to the back. She forgot the paper towels. Walk to the back. Where’s the nail polish. Walk to the back And she moved at a really slow pace. Arg! Once we finally got started, someone came in that needed a fill and we had to get up to move to a different station. Really?
Now, all I *thought* I was getting was a nail polish change, however, since I wanted gel polish, they evidently take a little more time and effort in doing the gel nail polish — or she didn’t know that it was just a polish change. I’m not sure. She was extremely attentive to my nails and did everything perfectly. Again, if I hadn’t been in a rush, I would’ve enjoyed it bit of… but I was, so it annoyed me.
It ended up being $ 30 for my «nail polish change,» if I had any time or fight in me, I would have pressed the issue on why it was $ 30 for a nail polish change, but I was tired, running late and didn’t feel like arguing with them at all. The atmosphere is nice, the place is clean, she did an excellent job… but I probably won’t be coming back for a $ 30 nail polish change.

I liked this Hollywood Nail & Spa location so much better than the in Uptown/​Oaklawn area. It feels cleaner. Also, I usually get gel nail polish. It lasts longer, being that I work at a hospital. I have a lot of hands on patient care. This nail polish never chips or gets damaged! I liked the process this salon uses to remove the old polish and even her technique for applying during a manicure was better. I will definitely not hesitate to drive a little further to enjoy this locations luxuries.
They never did offer me anything to drink though, I used to go into these Hollywood Nail locations and they would immediately offer me a soda, water, or wine. The last few times, neither location has done so.
My only complaint, completely out of their control — parking. I don’t really care for how it’s all set up. Bunch of one way streets as well.

I give it two stars for being clean. The polish is at the back of the store in very poor lighting so the colors are not the same when you get out in the daylight. My pink and whits have ridges, rough spots and are way thin. My pedicure is awful. I had a dr appointment or I would have made them fix it all. The only good part was a ten minute neck rub.
