John Jinuntuya – State Farm Insurance Agent

I had been one of John’s clients for many years and send him many referrals. While John has always worked to get me the best State Farm could offer, over the years I’ve had such poor customer service, I’ve cancelled every policy with State Farm. Their claims process is long and drawn out.
To get any answers you must go through your agent. Just trying to find a customer service number on their website is a pain and once you do get through they just transfer you to your agent’s office who must then call on your behalf and wait for a response which is almost always a few days for a simple question regarding your policy.
I am in no way a part of the «instant, I need answers right now» movement, but when it comes to insurance, I do feel I should be able to get answers or even a response in a better timeframe that what State Farm and John’s office can give.
In a recent request to TDI to be able to raise rates, State Farm sited that for every $ 1 in claims they are paying out they are spending $ 1.10. I think most of that $ is paying people to shuffle papers rather than give answers.
I have found better insurance with much lower premiums and far better service from places that have lower overhead and operations cost.
John and Maria are great. It’s a shame their agency is tied to an organization that needs to work on it’s process management.

Like they say in their slogan, «Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there.» Well, John is our auto and home insurance agent and he is an actual neighbor (Lake Highlands area) of mine. Though we’ve only had him for about a year, he has been very responsive, friendly and helpful for our insurance needs. When updates or changes occurs, he contacts us and makes sure we are aware of the most current policy. I would highly recommend him and his team.

John is an excellent agent. He knows the State Farm products very well. Additionally, John takes him time to ensure you have the best converage and that you have reviewed all of your options.
