Great and very relaxing experience. I bought the groupon deal for $ 25. In that value they had alot to offer. Didn’t behaved unhappy seeing my groupon ticket. Front desk young staff were very friendly. We went in got our locker room key cum wrist band charging card from another and their uniform table inside. Went inside the women’s locker, changed into uniform, took off shoes, only bear foot allowed n kept everything in the locker. U can keep wearing ur inners if u want. Inside the locker room they have room for massage (extra charge) n another room which has 5 pools, 4 hot n one cold pool, steam room n bath area (u need to take off all ur cloths before going in). Before entering the pool u need to take a bath with soap n shampoo. Oh n one was reserved for full body massage, its was open. Please be ready for the nudity, its a Korean spa n a locker room. All the Sauna’s (in their uniform) and outdoor pools (wear ur own or rent a swimming dress) are outside. They have 10 or eleven sauna’s, all wonderful. Then they hv the outside pool with jets, one with bar, and water park for kids. Separate locker room for them. Saunas was really relaxing n soothing. They have food court. I got the bento box 3 with spicy pork, it had pork with onion, coleslaw, two dumplings, pickled beans n broccoli, rice n clear soup. Very tasty n filling. I got this rice water drink. It was sooooo yummy n refreshing. Yum! All this in this value was amazing will definitely go back.

Ohhhh don’t even know where to begin. Paid 23 $ to get in. Was going for a vsteam steam, and also got a gold scrub. Expensive but this place is an experience. Naked in locker rooms and sauna. In womens and mens.

Please get your employees to stop trying to up-​sell me once I’ve already reviewed the menu of options and started my beauty treatment. I love coming here and do so to relax. I pay for your over-​priced food and drinks. I splurge on your over-​priced beauty treatments. Once I’ve set up an appointment, please stop trying to get me to buy more. I’m trying to relax. I’m trying to enjoy my experience. I can read the menu of options. There is sometimes a language hurdle between myself and the person giving me a treatment. I don’t even know what they are trying to get me to buy most often. Please, just let me come relax and give you my money in peace.

I can’t say enough good things about king spa. I’ve been here a few times so this review is past due. When you enter the person at the front explains in great detail what the process is. After going through the turnstiles you are required to take off your shoes and pick up a uniform in your size. You then enter your locker room designated by sex, and can either proceed to the wet areas which is all nude or put your uniform on and come out to the coed areas which is fully clothed. They have various rooms for various purposes. they also have a movie room, and family lounge areas. We did not participate in the food court area because we had already had dim sum for lunch. What always strikes me most about this place is how clean it is, the floors are impeccable and the coed areas are always tidy. They now have an indoor swimming area with a bar where children are not allowed which is a good thing. I highly recommend King spa to anyone visiting Dallas.

Came here with a friend last week. First things first, don’t come here if you’re uncomfortable around naked people. The locker rooms are separated by male and female. I was a little in shock when walking in and almost everyone was naked. I went and asked for a scrub, and she instructed me to strip down to nothing. I did as I was told, then rinsed off before my scrub. The actual scrub was good. They’re very aggressive, so I don’t suggest shaving a day or two before because it can cause a rash. The scrub lasted what felt like a long time, but the end results were great! The area is kind of closed off from the hot tub and shower section but if someone else is getting a scrub, they will also be butt naked laying on a table nearby. Didn’t bother me, but like I said you have to be comfortable with it. The saunas were nice, over 5 to choose from. Most were a little too crowded. What I loved and am definitely going back for is the indoor heated pool!!! Bring your swimsuit and ID because they have a bar inside one of the pools. Overall my friend and I ate, got scrubs and relaxed for about 4 hours for under $ 150. The food is OK, probably wouldn’t eat there again. I got the chicken fried rice and it was really bland. Also be aware that there is definitely a language barrier with the staff. :) love this place, would be interested in getting a massage here.

I bought a Living Social voucher for Spa Castle. It was okay but King Spa is WAY better. Purchased two Groupons. My favorite is to stay in the 107 hot tub and then stay in 64 degree pool for 3 – 5 minutes. Repeat 5x’s. Then go sit in ice room before entering the fire sudatorium. Repeat that 5x’s. Check out a few themed rooms and maybe kick back, relax and watch a movie.

This was my first time here. I usually visit Spa Castle but I’ve heard great things about King Spa. I came here Christmas Eve morning with my boyfriend. We were a little unlucky and had to wait an hour because the fire sprinkler went off earlier that morning. The staff did a great job at communicating with the customers and informing everyone what was going on.
The saunas are my absolute favorite. There are so many to choose from (7ish rooms). Definitely relaxing and released all the bad toxins from my body. They have a cool waterpark and several pools to relax in. Everyone here is chill and I love the atmosphere… good vibes from everyone.
I ordered the Korean bbq bento box from the food court. A little pricey but worth it!

This is my second time at this place and I usually just come to Dallas once or twice a year. You pay your entrance fee which is $ 45 after 2pm. Happy hour before 2pm charges half.
It is true that you strip naked to get into the baths and I am close to reaching my comfort zone of walking around naked amongst other naked women. Almost. Shampoo, soap, disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided. A bath towel is $ 1. Hand towels are free.
This place has a huge pool with a bar. There are sections with seating and jets. A kiddie pool with a nice-​sized slide is close by. They do rent out swim suits if you forget to bring one ($ 4). All kids are required to wear a life vest at all times.
There are several dry sauna rooms that will fit all heat preferences. I like the pyramid room the most. Not too hot and just enough heat. If you get too hot, you can hop into the ice room.
I had an acupressure massage for an hour ($ 80). It was superbly done on the second floor of the complex. They also offer foot massages and started facials last Jan 2^nd.
Truly, I love coming here because they have great Korean food. This is a haven for self-​indulgence. There is nothing like sweating toxins off, cooling down with fresh juices, napping when you feel like it and doing it all over again. For those who have small children, they do have childcare ;)
There is wifi and a counter for those who wish to work on their laptops while in the spa. There are several recliners and chairs for lounging or visiting with friends if you happen to come as a group.
Please observe the rules if you dare to come. Keep your conversations down in open areas. Be quiet in the saunas where other people are meditating or relaxing and take control of your obnoxious brats.

I love coming here and after five years, I wish the secret was still a secret. Now it’s quite popular but still a draw for me. I wish everyone knew how to behave properly because some people feel the need to be loud just to be loud.
The salt scrub was intense but I felt pampered and my skin has never been softer.
Their food court is delicious but I have a true fondness for the spicy ramen and the mango smoothie!
The Italian ices are a real treat after relaxing in a hot room.
The pool is nice but income to relax and not always to swim.

Always wanted to try a Korean spa, and I was glad I gave it shot! It was a neat experience to sit in their saunas and relax all throughout the facility. My friend and I spent hours there just relaxing. We ordered food from the little restaurant inside, watched a movie in the theater room, and sat inside all the saunas.
The whole experience was neat and fun! It’s a great place to play hookie (shhh) and catch up on some R&R for as long as you want – at least within your 24 hour stay. I didn’t get a chance to get a massage, but if I’m in the area and decide to come back, I’ll get one in!

This place is ok it’s worth getting the groupon but without the groupon I believe it’s way overpriced.

I’ve been to both here and spa castle up there in Carrollton and both has its perk but I believe now this is the only place that you can stay for 24 hours however if you stay over 24 hour it’s an additional 2 $.
They open for the holiday’s whether it’s Christmas or thanksgiving. They have the body scrub and the water park just like spa castle. As a Korean I feel this one is more like the authentic Korean spa. There is about 6 – 7 hot rooms, plenty of space to sleep, free wifi, plenty of bathrooms, and food. Mind you the food is quite pricey and if it’s possible I would recommend going to a restaurant across the street if you wanted Korean food. Taste way better and is way cheaper than this place but if you have no choice the soup options are pretty good. They have the standard drinks such as the cold rice drink and the various fruit drinks.

I would definitely recommend this place as a place to relax and feel great. It is 24hrs so you could stay the whole night. We loved it and will definitely be back!
Tips & Hints:
–READ all the signs posted! Extremely helpful. I few other reviews complained about the staff not giving you much instruction or direction but if you just pay attention to the signs you’ll get it on your own easily.
— Bring a large towel, possibly 2 since one will get wet
— Bring socks, the floors get hot in the saunas
— Bring own bar of soap
— bring a blanket and ear plugs if you plan to sleep
— Bring a swimsuit to wear under your uniform
— Bring water bottles, they don’t provide that, only water filling stations
— 3 drink maximum per person at the bar
When you first get in you must take your shoes off, then walk up to the desk and get your uniform. You then preceeding to go into gender divided locker rooms to change and put your stuff up. The lockers are a good size, I read some other reviews about them being small but I disagree. In the locker room there are 3 different temperature levels of heated tubs and one cold tub. In here you must be naked and must shower first before entering. Bring your own soap because they only have community bars that everyone uses (gross). When you exit the locker room, from which you came in, it is then gender neutral where everyone is wearing their assigned uniforms.
The sauna rooms are amazing, there are so many to choose from.
My recommendation is the Fire Sudatorium, as it is the hottest and get the best sweat from it. You will feel amazing after.
I also loved the Base Salt room which requires you to bring in a large towel to lay down on the block of stone. Bring your own large towel as the charge to rent one here. This room felt great on my sore back and you had plenty of room to layout.
The oxygen room was very relaxing and quiet. Perfect place to nap, which we did.
The Ice Room, was underwhelming but was still a nice cool down room. Could have been colder.
The water park massage jets were perfect! No need to get a massage with those.
The food and juice was expensive but worth the price.
They also have a movie room where I took another nap in.

I love this place. It is truly a gem to the DFW Metroplex.
If I could afford coming here every single day, or every other day as some do, I would.
This is a truly authentic, beautiful, magnificent sauna and spa. The first thing you’ll notice is the decorations — really sets the scene for relaxation. I love the giant amethysts they have around the building.
My favorite area to be in is the spa area in the locker rooms. If you are not used to being around natural bodies then it might take some getting used to but stopping at the spas in there is crucial for true relaxation!
In the ladies spa area they have also changed the steam room from what I remember. I used to walk in there and immediately walk out because it was just too hot for me but the temperature seems to have been changed, and they included stone stools to sit on which helps if you are planning on being in there for a longer while.
In case you’ve never been, they have multiple sauna rooms with various health benefits. I really enjoy the pyramid room and the super cold one.
They do have a pool area they have added on a while back, which is absolutely beautiful, however in my opinion something probably better enjoyed with company! There is also a bar, which I have yet to experience, and outdoor seating.
Their food is also delicious, and most meals start at $ 9 however they give you generous amounts.
I will say I have been loyal to King Spa over any other spas in the area for a couple of years now, but there was a groupon for Spa Castle I saw and felt I should experience due to hearing good word of it.
However my experience there was not very great — it felt like a copy of King Spa that fell short. The cold room was barely freezing (I don’t know if I even received goosebumps), the sauna rooms were not very enjoyable to sit in and the pool was over crowded, loud, and there were ladies partying and twerking in it for a good hour and a half. Employees only nervously walked by and didn’t say anything to the large group of twerkers.
I would say Spa Castle is the Americanized version of King Spa, and in my opinion authenticity and quality is important!
I will say that I have never experienced twerkers at King Spa, lol. If anything, children are seen about and talking loudly. But I try to go on a week day if I can which eliminates the loud people for the most part.
They also have great seating and wifi, and you can bring a book, sit and read, or do some work while you’re here.
I especially love the theatre room that makes you feel like you’re really at the movie theatre and the comfy chairs.

I have never been to any spa. So the naked people in the locker room was a real shock. apparently it is a korean culture thing. That being said, i would go here again. The spa regularly pairs with groupon.
When you walk into the building, you are wearing shoes. When you get past the cash registers, take off your shoes. Do this before you open the first set of doors. You may bring in water shoes for the pool. I dont know anlbout flip flops.
You are given a bracelet with a key and a number. This is your locker, and, i suspect, this is how they charge for extras.
You must wear a spa uniform (a goldenrod pair of shorts and a shirt) around the spa. When you put your stuff in your locker, make sure the locker is actually locked. The facility is extremely clean. Clean enough to eat off the floor. Nothing should stick tto your feet.
In the dry zomes you must wear the uniform. In the pool, take off the uni and just wear your swimsuit. As far as i can tell, the only problem i had was that you have to go through the llobby to get to the pool locker rooms. They rent towels for a dollar and be prepared to pay a dollar if you want a fry uni after getting yours wet. I guess thats what they meam by extra uniform.
The spa pool has several different types of jets that massage different parts of you. The two hot tubs get crowded quickly. The family pool is where the lazy river and water slide are. There is also a kiddie splash park.
I heard about another pool outsi d e but it was too cold to check it out.
Inside, they have little rock paths you can walk on for your feet. I thought tbhey were painful, but ny sister loved them.
There is a sweat lodge and two infared rooms. The movie theater, main area, and break room all have large recliner type chairs. Apparently people sleep there for a while. The movie theater was playing skyfall while i was there and had a poster for indiana jones, so those are the age of th e movies.
They have a 3 drink max at the swim up bar. I think its a great policy considering how long you can be there. Food is expensive woth chicken nuggets costing $ 7. They also had korean food in the lobby cafeteria.
All the extra services, like the massage and nail dalon are located on the second floor. The stairs aee in the pool area.
There is alot to see and do at this spa. Its apparently not like your typical spa but i am definitly planning my next visit back. I do recommend this spa. You get quite a bit for a base price. Food, extra unis, and special services are extra, and you get charged when you check out. To chek out, find the appropruate door and go out. They look at your bracelet and if you bought anything else, they charge. We bought nothing else so we were good to leave. Socks are recommended for the hot areas, but shoes are only allowed at check out.

Not going to pay 100 $ for me and my kids to go swimming. No thank you.
Lower the prices and you’ll get lots of more customers.

I copied my old review below. The only changes I am making are the following:
— DO BRING SHOWER SHOES or RISK ATHLETE’S FOOT (my fiancé ended up with it)
— DO BRING WATER BOTTLES or RISK KIDNEY STONES (my fiancé dehydrated and ended up with kidney stones)
We came to King Spa back to back without shower shoes and left the water bottles in the locker. Well, he ended up getting athlete’s foot. He had never had it before. After speaking to the doctor he said he likely got it from King Spa since he had no history of it until visiting this place. The kidney stones came after severe dehydration. So if you are prone to dehydration and kidney stones please keep yourself well hydrated. I don’t think what he experienced is common but know that it is possible. I wore my socks and drank plenty of water. I suggest y’all do the same.
We came here using a Groupon. My experience is more like the other people who liked their visit. I’m not going to bore you with it. It was great. You should come here. I’d rather tell you about what you should bring if you do decide to visit.
Here’s what I recommend:
— Wear flip flops or shoes that are easy to take on and off. Avoid anything bulky. The lockers aren’t very large. Plus you’ll need to take your shoes off upon entering.
— Take at least 2 large towels. They charge $ 1 to rent them. They aren’t thick towels. You’ll need a nice thick towel to protect your butt and thighs on the hot floors in some of the rooms. You’ll be glad you did. Leave one in the locker so you can use it after you shower.
— Take socks. You will probably need them for the various rooms they have. Some people can deal with the hot floor but most can’t. Most people had something to protect their feet.
— Take a water bottle. They have a water station and they’ll give you a small glass to drink from. If you plan on staying in a hot room for a while then take the water bottle. You’ll want to hydrate yourself.
— Take your bathing suit. They have rentals but you can save if you take your own.
— Ladies, I suggest you take a sports bra if you don’t want to wear your bathing suit or plan to swim. Why? If you don’t then you’ll end up running around without a bra. If you’re comfortable with that then don’t worry about the sport bra.
— Take your own soap. They do have soap for you. It’s bar soap. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to use bar soap in a strange shower that is used by hundreds of people. I didn’t shower because I’m too modest to shower in front of other women.
— If you eat at the restaurant try the blueberry smoothie or strawberry banana smoothie. They are tasty. Try the chicken pan fried rice. Avoid the shrimp pan fried rice. The shrimp are TINY. Try the short ribs. They are pricey but they are tender and taste like they came fresh off the grill. If you’re not familiar with Korean food like me, don’t try the shaved ice. It looks like a delicious sundae but it’s not. It is a fake. Not being familiar with what a sundae consisted of I quickly regretted my purchase. It was so pretty in the picture. It turned out to be shaved ice topped with some bean paste (looked like fudge in the picture), brown powder (not sure what it was), and some other stuff I have no idea what it was. Excuse my ignorance. I won’t order that again. It was out of the realm of what I’m used to.
— If you drink at the bar try the blue Hawaiian or Funky Monkey. Both were tasty. There’s a 3 drink minimum. Don’t expect to get plastered. The bar is stocked for drinks that are on the menu. The bartender helping us wasn’t helpful. I got the impression he knew how to make the drinks off the menu but nothing more.
We did call to see what the cost of a membership would be. It’s $ 1800 for the year! The membership includes a discount on the admission fee and invites to special events. Doesn’t sound appealing to me. We would have to go at least 4 times a month for a year to get $ 1800 worth. The website has admission at $ 45 but we were told by phone it was $ 30 on weekends and $ 23 during the week.
All in all it was a pretty good experience. We’ll be back.

What an odd life experience. Arrived at the spa, front desk guys are super rude. Didn’t want to answer any of my questions despite us having to stand around the front desk to wait for my sister to locate her Groupon. He kept saying, «information booth inside.» Booked a V-​steam ($ 25). Had to try it, I just had to. It was an experience. They give you a little fan to help with managing the heat. I’m happy to say I did not suffer any burns from the experience as my sister repeatedly warned me that I would. Fear monger-​er. Sauna area. Couldn’t take the cold, loved the heat. I wish they would do the cold bath Turkish hamam style. Time for the body scrub ($ 70). Had lunch at the cafeteria. Great organic chicken wings, greasy pork ribs, mediocre bulgogi. Took a nap in the dream room. Tried out all the other rooms. Left with total bill of $ 125. Yikes.
Pros: no wonder my in-​laws love this place so much. I could totally see them coming here again and again (which they do).
Cons: the other patrons. wish they would do a better job enforcing rules about people cleaning themselves before getting into heated baths. people with their cellphones out. wish they would do a better job enforcing that rule too. too many kids running around.

King spa is a great place to relax. Huge pools with jet streams, in-​pool bar, sauna’s, waterpark, lazy river, movie room, nap rooms. For me, it was real easy to get some studying done.
Food tasted very good and I tried a few dishes. Tried the Kalbi short ribs, ramen, & eggs. My only complaint is the somewhat high prices.
Cleanliness: Overall it was pretty clean for a spa, however, It’d be better if I saw more staff members wiping down seats since there is a lot of sweaty people around. Also, wish there were more than 3 toilets in the men’s locker room!
Décor & Style: This is my first Korean style spa i’ve been to so I cannot compare to others. A few complaints: The hallway leading to the men’s locker room had multiple lockers! That means people are standing in the middle of the hallway changing when everyone else is trying to enter/​exit. That is ridiculous. That means all day long people are trying to enter/​exit and squeeze in between naked men. Also, it would be nice to have a few more «cool» rooms since almost the entire building is warm. Overall I like the concept. I will try their competitor, Spa Castle, to compare the difference.

I absolutely love this place! First of all, find a groupon for this because it’s about 40% off the original price. I’ve been here twice already and both times have been a wonderful experience. With the entry fee, you get access to all the saunas and waterpark and facilities. Any extra massages and food are all extra payments. (They give you a bracelet that you can use to charge your account. That way you won’t have to carry your wallet around the place.)
There are multiple different types of sauna rooms in the main area and hot tubs/​pool spa in the waterpark. There are also separate spas for men/​women which you can access through the locker rooms. These separate spas are fully nude spas (in which you have to bathe yourself first before going in) where you can enjoy different temperature hot tubs. It’s really not as awkward as you think because everyone there does not care at all.
There are two areas to get meals here. One in the main entrance where you walk into the spa. This are only serves Korean food. Food is good and decently priced and it’s a good portion. The waterpark area includes a pool bar which serves wonderful drinks with a big variety of options ($ 10/​drink though; a little steep for a drink but they are strong!). The waterpark area houses another place where you can get food and the food is American but has a few Asian options like fried rice, etc.
When you want a break from the spa, there are areas where you can take naps or watch a movie. The recliner chairs in the facility are very comfortable and I’ve taken some of the best naps there!
This is such an amazing place because you really feel like you’re on a weekend getaway far away. Each time I’ve been here, I’ve spent more than 4 hours relaxing in this place. I would definitely recommend coming here with friends or family. You guys can enjoy each other’s company and have a very relaxing day.
