Came here upon a friends recommendation and it was not my favorite place. It is a little suspect from the get go. It shares a parking lot with a laundromat and a pawn shop and fits right in. Upon walking in, the staff was friendly and helpful, but that’s about where the pleasant part of my experience started and ended. The food was not that great and I have no plans on coming back.

I’ve had tacos in a lot of places around Dallas. this place wouldn’t be in my top 10. Nor would it make it on my top 30 list. I was excited to give this place a test run. Sadly, my excitement didn’t last past the first bite. My chicken was extremely DRY! It had absolutely no taste at all. The meat wasn’t even pulled or chopped. When I took a bite, it was like biting into a small thigh or breast piece. Just one big chunk of chicken! My tortillas were hard and the radishes were rubbery. My husbands steak tacos weren’t good either. The meat looked like beef jerky bites! My experience here was not a great one. Needless to say, we won’t be back

The place is a hole in the wall type joint. Brightly painted walls. A couple of booths and tables inside. Each table has a small glass vase with a genuine plastic flower made in China. Very classy. The portions are somewhat small for what you pay. The food is pretty tasty, but the chicken is kind of stringy.

Restaurant was small enough and not well marked that you can drive right by it. The first thing you notice is the size. They have a about(2) 4-tops and some booths. The menu looked good and so did the pictures. I placed my order for a «Super» burrito and ice tea. Long story short. Tea bad, Restroom stunk, Chicken stringy to the point of texture like a rubber band. Wont be going back. Still looking for an awesome Taqueria in or near Richardson.

We were figuring out about what to eat in a late evening, and of course, the North Dallas/Richardson area does lack of a good Mexican hole-in-a-wall joint, but I eventually found one there. In any case, it is indeed small and hole in a wall type of joint. The only thing that I gave it four stars instead of five is that they should make it a 24-hour joint or open till midnight on the weekends at the very least. I want to say that if they were to do that, then they would get more clientele, but that is in all my honest opinion here. On with the food, we ordered tacos and the tacos were good. However, they were a bit small, but hey, they sure had a lot of meat in them. My order was ready with efficient service, and with courteous staff to take your order. The dining area is no-frills, so don’t expect something fancy at this place. So from a guy that sees a lot of taquerias out here in California, this one is for sure one that looks like the many of them we have here, and I think they do have other locations around the DFW Metroplex.

This place is as authentic and good as it gets… Taco heaven in my opinon. The previous review must have been from someone expecting Taco Bell. If you want Bell, go to the Bell, but don’t expect sub-par ground meat here. They even have the Manzana soda I am used to seeing on the border. The tacos are the small, soft, fresh corn tortillas you get when you are in Mexico, and the meat is amazing as well. My buddies get the lengua(tongue) and vistec(steak), which I like, but the Pastor is tops! If you are not familiar with true Mexican food, they do not use much salt. This is why limes and salt shakers are provided with their wonderful sauces! I order 5 tacos when very hungry, but I recommend 3 or 4 for most women.

So I walk in starving and having tried 5 different tacos and some menudo, I don’t think I’m quite satisfied. I tried barbacoa, carnitas, lengua, tripas, and bistek. None of them stood out to me. They weren’t bad, they were just okay. My sister had a chorizo and egg taco. She liked it.
