In addition to having her Master’s in Counseling, Lisa is also a certified special education teacher and the parent of a child with disabilities. Lisa has a unique understanding of parenting a child with disabilities and navigating the confusing special education process.

Lisa provides child counseling or play therapy, family counseling, parenting sessions, and specialized support through the A.R.D. process.

Having been a parent, teacher, and counselor for several years in a special education setting, Lisa has a unique and specialized understanding of working with children with disabilities, their siblings and family, as well as teachers and schools.

History

Established in 2005.

Lisa’s career in counseling began in 2005, and, for the past 10 years, she has helped hundreds of children and families.

Lisa takes a client-​centered approach in every session, and her goal is to reduce stress and anxiety, while helping you achieve your goals. She assesses each case from a holistic point of view, helping you improve in ways you never imagined.

In her spare time, Lisa presents to other professionals and community organizations and has spoken to local, regional, and national organizations as well as instructed several coaching and counseling classes
