Slow service, food is extremely salty, plus everything taste like it has the same seasoning on it. My recommendations is less salt, individual seasoning for every entrée, and please know… the oil needs to be changed from time to time.

This place has been around for a while, it’s close to my house, and being in an adventurous mood I decided to give it a try. Those adventurous moods can come back to bite you every so often, and this time it did. When I drove up there was no one parked in front. I went to the drive through and no one was in line. That should have been enough to let me know what to expect, but unfortunately it wasn’t. Ordered a shrimp poor boy, and then sat in my car for well over ten minutes for it to finally come. It was wrapped in multiple layers of foil, and while this did keep the sandwich hot it also made the lettuce and tomato wilted and not particularly pleasant to eat. I tried one of the shrimp off the poor boy, and although it appeared to have been freshly breaded and fried instead of the nasty prebreaded frozen shrimp some places use, it was incredibly salty. It had a bit of heat, but also an unpleasant aftertaste. It wasn’t inedible, but for $ 8.59 for a relatively small poor boy, I think it needs to be more than just not inedible. There are too many better places to eat in the area.

My husband and I love trying local fare, and supporting businesses in our community. The first order-drive thru was good, he had chicken and I had catfish, we were left lacking seasoning, but not a deal breaker. But they forgot part of our order and that just is not good business. SO, we decided to give them a second chance and dagumit, they did it again. Look, if your customer gets their food thru the window, add EVERYTHING they paid for, napkins, plastic wear. Otherwise you just look cheap, which should be reflected in your prices. Doubt we will be back. We use drive thru often due to physical limitations. It would take a decent coupon or something to get us back.

Just tried this place out a few days ago on my trip back to Texas! Gotta say the wings are really really good! Perfectly tender and real crispy. You all have to try this place!

Not sure why the reviews are bad. The fried chicken was awesome. I loved the left and thigh… Crispy and chunky on the outside moist and juicy on the inside. Awesome take out.

I will never spend my money here again, I ordered a two pc fish basket with red beans and rice, horrible, horrible, horrible, fish so little it looks like chicken strips and I decided to try the red beans and rice it was bland and the rice didn’t taste right, I wasted $ 6.93 for this crap!!!

Food is bland and overpriced. Staff is rude. My order took 14MINUTES! Now if this was a Saturday afternoon or some other high traffic time, I could understand, but at 2:30 on a Thursday afternoon? Come on. No apology for taking so long, just asked if I wanted hot sauce and ketchup. I even told them it was my first time here. Well after this, its my last time too.

Woman at the drive through and rude and useless. I asked if their happy hour menu was still available and all she says is, «how can we help you» I thought she didn’t hear me so I repeat my question and again she says«how can we help you» but this time with an attitude. Woman, please. This is your job. I’m sure if you don’t like it, there are other people willing to do it.

I absolutely love seafood, so when I received a coupon for Louisana«Famous» Fried Chicken & Seafood I was excited and hungry! I drove up with my 5 month old in tow and the place looked busy(I would come to see why). I drove around back to the drive thru and saw there were 5 cars ahead of me. I didn’t think twice about it until 15 minutes later I was still in the same spot and was not able to get out. I thought, well it MUST be delicious why would anyone wait this long? I finally drove up to order, the lady was super friendly. She took my order with ease! She is the only reason I could give this place a star! I ordered the 10pc shrimp combo, okra and unsweet tea. The wait was ridiculous!!! 35mins? I kept thinking this HAS to be worth it. When I finally arrived home, I was extremely disappointed to find my shrimp was not cooked throughly. It was still grayish pink and the crust was falling off… UGH! The okra was bland but at least it was cooked throughly. If you plan to get real Lousiana seafood, please go elsewhere.

This was my first time at this place and last. The red beans and rice taste old and too much back pepper. I order a two piece catfish and got 3 strips. a waste of $ 8. Never again

Never again. This was my first and last visit. I ordered two pieces of catfish and I got strips of catfish. The red beans and rice were old and too much black pepper. Next time I will go to Popeyes.

Friendly(service), Fatty, Greasy, poorly Seasoned, poorly prepared food, and the menu picture is Deceiving. Need to work on being timely making orders and prepping for the Day. Note:Every Restaurant that uses the State of Louisiana name isn’t Louisiana Quality. Just like everything in Texas isn’t Big.

Not impressed at all. The lady behind the counter was very nice and that was the only positive about this experience. I ordered catfish and it was not good. The seasoning was okay but that could not have been catfish. It was a bit rubbery and was really rubber the next day. Looking at the menu they mainly sag«fish» so it could be swai or some other type of fish. The chicken that was tanning under the heat lamps was not appetizing. I didn’t try the sides but my friend was not happy about them.

It is a shame my state name is blasted on this establishment. First and foremost, food is not good. Red beans were the best thing on the menu. Jambalya was dry and looked old. Fries were fries… potato salad was ok but certainly not Louisiana standard. Chicken and fish is what you an find at a Dallas based seafood place. The wait is ridculous for subpar at best food. They do have the closet to po boy bread that you will find in Dallas. But still not po boy bread at all. We waited 25 minutes in drive thru only to be told, they dont grill drive thru orders you have to come inside. Then please state thay on your menu. Then we waited at the window another 20 minutes for a clerk who never returned. I drove around front, went inside to find out she had a shift change and left. WTH. I waited another 15 minutes for an order. I stand and watch the clerk tell the guy in the back what I ordered, the guy in the back proceeds to take fish from front bring it to the back and drop it in the fryer. I politley said, I dont want that fish and asked for grilled. He took the fish out of the fryer and dropped it on the grill. I did a double take and asked where Ashton was as I knew I was being punked. This doesnt sound right and I assure you it didnt look right. Point, dont waste your time or your money.

I was told that if there is a lot of people at an eating establishment, something is being done right. So I walked in and seen fresh dark crunchy fried chicken being dump on the service board. I ordered the 8 piece(chicken only). The wait was kinda long, but I knew it was fresh. Got home and took a bite. It is some good chicken. Will be telling all me friends to check it out.

The wait is bananas at this place 40 min wait for 20 pieces of fish that could be seen sitting under the heat lamp.

I’m from Louisiana and I just hate when people loosely put my state in the title. The fish was not hot and was not seasoned well. The soda machine was spewing flat soda. Many who came to order a shrimp po boy paid and had there orders cancelled after waiting for 10 minutes because they were out of shrimp. Not to mention out of red beans. The chickens wings were large and had a decent flavor. The jambalaya looked like dirty rice was very dry and appeared to be old. Right now I would recommend u just go to Popeyes
