This place is such a relief for all the nearby SMU students! Their food is so authentic and the people who own the restaurant are so nice! The more non-Americanized food is written in Chinese on a white board next to the counter, but you can always ask them for recommendations/translations. I personally recommend the minced pork rice bowl, the steamed pork dumplings, or one of their fried rice options. I’ve heard from people who aren’t Asian that their orange chicken and curry are great go-to options, as well, but I haven’t tried either of those. I also LOVE their milk tea — most people like to get it with tapioca.

Dont order from this location. Was told my order would take about an hour or longer to deliver and was assured by Christian that I would get hot oil sauce decided to still order since I love their other locations fried rice(coit & inwood), I mean really who can go wrong with fried rice. Rice was over cooked over sized beef pieces overall rice had no flavor nothing that made me go yum, not to mention they forgot my hot oil sauce! Will never order from this place again.

DONOTORDERTAKEOUT! We were given a 45 minute-1 hour estimated delivery time. After and hour and a half, I called to check the status and was assured that the driver was just around the corner. It took another half hour and two more phone calls to finally get my now cold food. After two hours and being refused a refund for hour late food(by this time we just wanted to go through a drive thru), the food finally shows up. Maybe it would taste better warm, but I wasn’t impressed.

They don’t answer if you call an hour before closing. The meat is actually the worst. It’s poor meat. Over cooked noodles. Terrible service. Bad atmosphere. I tried finding something positive but I couldn’t. The ladies working there are racist so don’t be a minority. Poor business.

The food was not that good. The chicken and broccoli was gross, white sauce not brown. The wonton soup had a very dark broth and was very salty. I would only give one star for their promptness but you never know what was going on that day. I will not be going back.

The worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. They were very friendly, but I would not order from here. Terrible. I got the lunch chicken and broccoli. Not even edible. Bone in chicken, no flavor.

Yes, the bathrooms arent that clean. Yes, they only use plastic utensils. Yes, the service is lacking a bit. Yes, they are slow to bring out food. Fine, this restaurant has its flaws. But its a CHINESE restaurant. Did you expect 5 star customer service? If so, go to Del Frisco’s or Capital Grille or even La Madeline down the strip for that. This is a Chinese restaurant, and what they do is they produce really good chinese food(as long as you order the right things — I’m not commenting on their Americanized dishes) When you walk in at night, you’ll see tons of Chinese people. Why? Because it’s legit. Although the menu definitely has its americanized choices like general tsaos or beef and broccoli, the authentic dishes are superb! On top of that, it’s a good price for a TON of authentic Chinese food. The reason why it might take so long is because theyre actually making it fresh for you, instead of serving pre-made crap like most other Americanized chinese restaurants. Do you mind waiting an extra 5 minutes longer than other places for fresh food? Yes, me too. If youre looking for authentic dishes, they have a list in Chinese of daily specials. I understand that most people might not read Chinese, so just ask the person at the register to recommend you a daily special from the Chinese menu and ask them to describe some of the dishes. If youre introverted like me and would rather not bother the poor man/woman, I would order the Beef noodle soup(niu rou mian). It’s a tad on the salty side, but it takes me back to the niu rou mian in Taiwan. The flavor is all there. The noodles are perfectly sized and chewy. And the meat is tender. All the great components of a beef noodle soup dish.

Food is okay. Hospitality is terrible. They don’t care about the customers and only care about the money. And did you see the restroom? Believe me, you don’t want to know… They have metal forks/knives, but no metal spoons! Thy are plastic.

You can’t go wrong with lovers egg roll, they are my absolute favorite. This locations parking lot is a bit of a mess while they do construction so just get in over by the cvs. Back to the food. They use fresh ingredients and the flavor is there. They are also really nice and prices are the same as any other restaurant so I recommend choosing them over another Chinese restaurant.

Just ordered from here for the first time. We got chicken broccoli, general jo chicken, egg rolls and crab rangoons. I was expecting the chicken broccoli to come in a brown sauce, but it had more of a chicken broth gelatinous sauce. It was weird and bland. My husband said the general jo chicken was pretty good but the rangoons seemed a little empty. May try something different there, or may give up on good quality Chinese food in Dallas. It’s nothing like NY, where we’re from.

Their food is really yummy. My favorite is the Panang Curry. The Negative — apparently they take their phones off the hook during their«Busy» times, and that is kind of annoying if you are calling to place a carry-out or delivery order.

This is our go to for delivery Chinese. It’s delicious, with TONS of choices. Delivery can be a bit slow during peak hours, and it is a bit greasy, but still we keep ordering frequently!

For a Chinese restaurant this was is pretty decent. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and an order of Crab Rangoon. The portion size was HUGE. I did eat all the Crab Rangoon’s but I had over half of my meal left over. You order at the front of the restaurant and they give you a number for you to put at your table so they can deliver you your food. It took roughly ten minutes to get my meal, which was pretty quick. There was plenty of seating for our group of six. I am still on the lookout for the perfect Chinese Restaurant, but this one is 100 times better than Mei Mei down the road off of Meadow and Hwy. 75. At least this food was hot!
