Living in Texas we learn to appreciate our Air conditioners! I was ready to freak out yesterday when my unit stopped working and I am expecting some family over this weekend for the holidays! I started searching for a reputable air conditioning company in the metroplex. Couple of my friends at work referred me to MB Kiser and I decided to give them a try! I have called their customer service and lady on the phone was very knowledgeable and willing to help, which was a big plus for me. She was able to get me on their schedule and listen to this… crew came in time with all the tools needed to fix my system! I know that system I have is old and I soon will be on the market for a new HVAC. I am glad now I have a company I trust. Recently I had a problem with one of my A/​C. It started to produce some unnatural sounds and then it stopped blowing any cold air at all, and it was a nightmare during the summer in Texas.
I called MB Kiser and they sent an employee the same day. He was very professional and after a few minutes he acknowledged what was the problem. The filter was old, and he replaced a bad capacitor on the outside unit. After he installed the parts the A/​C started blowing cold air. It even seems to work much better than before.
After I told him that I have other A/​C units that I would like to check, he offered to check them for free. He confirmed that they were fine but I might need to replace them in the future. The professionals like this once again proved that some companies do care about their customers and customer service is vital and very important.
The final price was extremely affordable. Actually, when you combine price & quality then surely MB Kiser is one of the best in this area.

these guys got me out the bind. Being in the business myself, you cant just be with ac for a very long time. WE waited for the right time and when the weather cooled of they swapped the units out. it was done with in hours. It looks like it took days to prepare, but execution was flawless. Crane showed up, street was closed, new unit arrived all within 15 minutes. The tech was on the roof at 6 am getting the old unit disconnected and than bam !!! just like that it was done! I did not pick the cheapest bid on the job (never know what you going to get with those guys) and did not pick the highest for the same reason. I went with the middle bid from Kiser. Permits, crane all services were described with no hidden agendas.
Thanks guys. It was not my first AC swap but defiantly the best to watch. I hope that I never have to do it again, but things get old.

I have two little children and we all know how the weather in July is unbearably hot. I practically can’t survive without air conditioning. Two weeks ago my AC stopped working. I couldn’t get any air out of it. I panicked, I couldn’t let my loved ones suffer in such weather conditions. I called one of the companies that I have previously heard of, but they weren’t available for the next 4 days. So, one of my friends suggested to me M B Kiser Heating & Air Conditioning. They said that they can help in 2 days. I explained my situation and they were so kind and helpful and arrived in just 15 hours. One of the employees was kind enough to help me in his non-​working hours. I guess that this company really cares about the customers and that is why I will always recommend them, if some of my friends or family has need of any HVAC services. The employee Clint was on time and positive right from the start. He even threw some jokes and we had laughs with my kids. He found the problem in an instant. One wire was loose and other part needed to be replaced. My AC is over 8 years old so maybe that is why it stopped working. He got the part in an hour and got my unit working. Also, he did a routine maintenance and made sure my unit had a proper amount of Freon, and now my AC works smoothly. Better than before. Clint seemed very knowledgeable and explained me how to use my AC even better. He showed me some features that I didn’t know my AC had, especially with the heating. He confirmed that everything will work and if that I have any problems that I can contact Kiser Heating & Air Condition anytime.

I own a big property outside Dallas, Texas, with numerous Air conditioning systems. However, in on unbearable situation two of my air conditioning systems stopped working. My property is located in a little desert-​ish area. The nearest store is 5 miles away and the city is 30 miles away. I called few companies and they either refused they asked too much to get to my house and diagnose my issue.
To shorten the story, I received the best offer and responsiveness from M B Kiser Heating & Air Conditioning. They were open for collaboration, interested in my situation, kind and positive. That meant a lot to me, because I had no idea how I was going to fix my HVAC system.
I was relieved, after I gave them my address and we arranged a time. Two employees showed up in a nice looking van, 15 minutes early. They were bright and energetic and were ready to help right away.
They found the problems right away, they answered my questions very professionally and thoroughly, and not only explained to me why my air condition system were not working, but explained to me how they work.
Their competent answers gave me belief that they are the right people for the job. Both systems needed different parts. One of the AC had a broken compressor, and the other one needed new valves. I thought I would be without AC for another day. However, one of the guys called their office and at their own expense one of their office employees brought the needed parts in just under 2 hours.
After that, they fixed the ACs in a glance. They also left me their cards and said that I can call them for any kind of assistance or questions. However, I have never needed any additional help. Everything runs smooth and perfect. Totally recommended HVAC service!

I have been using Kiser for my A/​C repair for the last few years. I recently called Kiser because my A/​C wasn’t blowing any cold air, and the temperature was about 86 degrees inside my house. After about an hour Clint came and fixed my problem in minutes. He changed the filter and replaced a bad capacitor on my outside A/​C unit. This is outstanding customer service. Thanks again.

I have now used MB Kiser for about 12 years. They have always been fast and honest. Recently, I had my AC go out at my office they fixed it fast with a $ 35 capacitor. The repair person I had out before Kiser tried to sell me an entire hvac system. The rip-​off artist name was Trey with «Blue Ribbon heating and air 214−823−8888». He either does not know how to do his job or is out to rip you off. Kiser also repaired one of my home units at 8pm on a hot evening fast and easy. Much to my amazement they did not even charge for emergency or afterhours. M.B. Kiser is wonderful to work with.

We hired M.B. Kiser to install a new HVAC system in our condo a few years ago after the old one failed over a summer. Initially I was pleased with the service from the company as the quote was lower than anyone else because the salesman did not push for a complete redesign of the system. Once we started to have problems with the system, we ran into problems with their service.
First, 2 years after the installation (Summer of 2012), the AC unit would not blow air so we called them to look at it. They arrived at night and we agreed to pay the after hours charge to diagnose the issue. Turns out the blower controller failed and would be replaced under warranty. After the part was replaced, I was surprised by a $ 400 bill for a hour of work. At no point did the technician tell us what the labor would cost or that it was a set price regardless of the time incurred. I called the office and was offered a 15% discount. I accepted the discount and chalked it up to mistake on my part of not asking and on them for not offering the pricing information.
Next, this winter (Jan 2013), the heater failed to turn on. Since Kiser installed the unit, I called them to look at it, fearing a part failed but hoping it would be under warranty. I was told by the technician the main wire had burned and it seemed the insulation had rubbed against the sharp metal housing of the unit causing a short (and a fire hazard). This time, instead of taking the time to stop, talk me through what was wrong, and state the charges, the technician completed the work before he even came down from the attic after the diagnostic. This time, I was surprised by a $ 150 bill for 30 minutes of work. I refused the bill and called the office the next morning. $ 150 to strip a wire and replace a wire nut is ridiculous. The manager claimed there was a power surge, contrary to the technician’s analysis of how the wire was installed. If a surge did happen, we would have had other problems with electronics not behind a surge protector. If the technician would have told me what was wrong and the cost, I would have happily paid a diagnostic charge and fixed it myself.
I do not recommend using this company to complete any service. The manager stated to me that they assume if the heat or AC isn’t working, you will pay anything to get it running. They do not worry about giving you the option to accept or reject the work.
