After being on bed rest with my pregnancy for months, the shampoo I received was exactly what I needed. That’s the only good thing I have to say about this salon. It kinda bothered me seeing the beauticians sitting and eating Ramon noodles, while several customers waited. I thought that was unprofessional and time consuming. A good 20 minutes was wasted while we just sat and waited. Ugh… Anyway, after my shampoo, she said my new growth was too hard to roll, so she opted to put me straight under the dryer… little did I know, this was part of a scam. I have very fine textured hair and can go months without a relaxer, so she was lying. My new growth and edges are like baby hair. Didn’t matter to me because it saved me some time. So after I slightly dried under the hooded dryer, I waited for over an hour to be blow dried out and flat ironed. She initially quoted me $ 30, but once I finished she said $ 40… For what? Because it was blow dried instead of rolled. So, you mean to tell me for less work, you charge and extra $ 10. There are only a few Dominican shops I trust because of their payment policies. I guess, she couldn’t charge me an extra $ 10 for the deep condition, so she got it another way. I don’t mind paying the cost to have my tresses done, but don’t try to play me because you’re really playing yourself by losing a loyal customer and a positive review. I wasn’t the only one questioning their service, so that tells you something. Anyway, will never go back because my hair was mediocre at best and was dry looking. My hubby thought I could have gotten the same results doing it myself at home. Please don’t waste your hard earned money or precious time.
