So, long story short. My 100lb dog broke my finger. The middle one to be exact. Had to have surgery to rebuild… then went into physical therapy. Yes, all for a friggin finger(I can almost hear my moms laughter). This is where Methodist comes in… cue my man Arthur. Arthur, you da bomb man. Add up all the hours of working with building blocks, picking pegs out of a styrofoam board(I know, its a little reminiscent of Kindergarten), him bending and stretching the finger(and many F*yous later). My finger is fabulous! I definitely could not have done it without him. It’s hard to imagine not having full use of your hand and all your fingers for that matter. However, once this has happened to you, it sucks and you really take for granted how wonderful/useful your hands are. Arthur stayed with it and pushed me. No mean comments, only encouraging and motivating. I definitely could not have done it without him. Great facility, really nice staff everywhere. You can tell that these PT’s really care a lot about their patients. I always see other people in there for knees, shoulders… etc. Most… most of them have a smile on their face, others well… don’t. Thanks Methodist! Hopefully I’ll never have to see you again, but if I need therapy… you’re where I’m coming and Arthur better still be there!
