LOVE my Blonde by Alyssa!!! I’m obsessed with my hair after she colored and cut, and had the most FAB experience! I just moved to Dallas and had a serious relationship with my stylist in Austin. So it was so hard to switch! bUT Alyssa was so sweet and gave me EXACTLY what I needed! My hair looks so bright and the perfect shade of blonde :) everyone in that salon is super nice! I can’t wait to go back! Alyssa also has FANTASTIC hair herself, as well as everyone in the salon (which is SO important) … You know when you walk into those other salons and peoples hair is not up to par, then you get nervous about where things may end:/ NOT at MRS they have some fabulous babes working there;) she cut the dead ends off, which made my hair look longer! It was Hair Wizardry !! Over the moon with this place and especially Alyssa! Make your appointment NOW!!! I give 100 STARS

I die my hair red which is a really tricky color for hairstylists. I went through quite a few stylists before I found Alyssa (Newnham) who gets my red right every single time. Everyone else got it too blue red or too brown. She gets it’s bright and coppery just like I like it! Highly recommend her if you’re a redhead like me! Plus, she did some fun balayage in the front for the summer, got so many compliments!
Also, my hair has never been as long as it is now that she cuts it, she knows just how much to take off so it’s healthy but still nice and long! She’s the sweetest to work with, just love her! The salon is a treat to go to and the hand massage is a nice bonus! Love this place!

If you have thin, fine hair you must see Leslie! She is awesome and I only trust her with my hair cuts from now on-​I am hooked. She is kind and does not pressure you.

Kimberly is the best colorist I’ve ever seen. Just AMAZING with high-​lights! I used to get my cuts by the owner, and so grateful I return to try them for color. She foils with perfection AND quickly!

I’ve been going to this salon for almost 10 years, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. Cristina is my stylist, and she’s amazing. She takes really good care of me, and makes me look ALL KINDS OF SEXY. Gives me a massage, provides sage advice on my ridiculous dating life, cuts my hair (obviously), washes it, waxes my unibrow, hot towel on da face, sells me the best shampoo, conditioner, and product. The works! She’s a true artist. Also, the staff is fun, friendly, happy, and I look forward to being around them each time I book an appointment. It’s just top notch. I highly recommend it to men and women. You’ll like the way you look. I guarantee it. ;-)

Sarah is awesome! She takes careful consideration of your goals, hair texture and the current state of your head! She does great work and is a Lot of fun. I get more compliments on my hair than ever! She has done great updos for events, color and magic cuts.

I got full highlights here with Mario, and he is amazing. First of all I am a very picky customer, and after going home and looking more at the color I ended up with, I called Mario to tell him I was unhappy with it. He fixed it immediately and sweetly, with no argument what so ever. «All I care about is that you are a happy customer.» He said. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and my hair was fabulous when I left. I would recommend Mario to anyone, and I will be back!

This place is a nightmare. They ruined my color and made it orange and brassy. My hair looks fried. The stylist said she liked it and that’s fine but I do not like it and it’s not what I asked for. Don’t go here.

Just WOW, I can’t say much more about Stylist Sarah Eroh. She took the time to understand my hair (very curly and unmanageable) Did not rush into a cut that I would not be able to keep up on my own. In no less than 2 hours I had gotten more compliments that I have ever had with another cut and style. As a small business owner I am the face of my company and a woman’s hair speaks volumes for how she is in life, all aspects and Sarah has a client for life. I will sing her praises to everyone and anyone.
Also, Aveda has some outstanding products for hair like mine! A must have for anyone with curly that can sometimes not do what you want.

Went here this week for the first time. The receptionist was friendly on the phone and I got an appointment for the very next day!
I was welcomed in warmly and offered water or lemonade.
Dustin cut my hair as part if the fresh talent program (aka $ 20 cut and styles!)
He did a terrific job! After the appointment he went over all the products with me that he used.
The only reason I didn’t give all 5 stars was because I couldn’t get Aveda points for the rewards program.

I love this place and especially Christina. I have been going to her for four years and followed her from Mockingbird to here. The first time I had her I was a moody pregnant woman that had just lost her hair dresser of a year there. I used to not let her do a thing to my hair when she first got it, but now hey why not. She is takes such good care of me and my hair I drive all the way from Murphy to come see her. I would recommend her if you are coming here for a new do she will fix you up, and your hair will love her.

I imagine that any stylist in this salon will give you an excellent cut, but I go to Sarah and think she does an amazing job. Her cuts always seem to grow out really well, and she has a talent for helping you change things up but keeping the cut best for your face and lifestyle. (I once asked her to chop my hair short and she reminded me that I told her never to let me cut my hair hair short. She was right!)

I cannot say enough about Michael Raymond Salons! I can say this because I have followed my fabulous stylist, Cristina from Mockingbird to Oak Lawn. I have seen how 2 locations operate and it’s flawless. Let me start by saying I have black brown hair naturally and wore it very long for many years. I wanted a change and a drastic one. I had visited other stylists but, it just never turned out how I wanted. Yes, I get it-​I have dark hair but, products have come a long way and it can be done without frying it. Cristina has completely transformed my hair in all ways including cut, color, health and all around knowledge of how to keep it from being damaged. She gives a complete consultation, examines the hair all over as well as the scalp. I get so many compliments on my hair and am so happy with how my cuts grow out and her honesty. She is worth every penny! Also, for the men out there-​she may just find you a wife-​no, seriously. She turns a hum-​drum mans head of hair into something that looks masculine, polished and not over groomed. My other half see’s her now and as a man that usually has long hair has learned to use a blow dryer and product! She takes great care of her clients. The hand and arm massage, neck massage, hot towel and eye brow trim (for men) are all perks to the service. I would highly recommend her to anyone and stand by her service 100%!

Meh. I went in for a haircut and highlights last week. $ 190 (plus tip) later, you can’t tell I got any color done other than an obnoxiously bright streak at the front of my hairline. In Leslie’s defense, she knew I didn’t like it while I was still in the chair and said I could come back and she would add more highlights. I’ve been considering it, but I honestly don’t think I want anyone here touching my hair again. I’ll just learn from my mistake and go elsewhere.
The cut is OK, not great. It’s much shorter than I anticipated having asking for just a trim.

Update: I have contiued to see Sarah every 5 weeks or so for a haircut and she has yet to give me a «bad» cut. She is very consistent and just as sweet as the first time I met her.

I have been a customer at this location for 2 years now, starting with Kimberly and moving to Sarah. They are very professional, and hard to beat for the level of service and price point. I’m a long time very satisfied customer.

This was my first real haircut in almost 5 years! I know that sounds outrageous but sometimes life just gets away from you. So this morning I called Michael Raymond hoping to get squeezed in and they were so accommodating, I made an appointment with Leslie and I was in her chair within the hour.
I was looking for a drastic chop, going from long (damaged) tresses to a pixie cut. Leslie sat me down, gave a great consultation and got the ball rolling. She was engaging and relatable and made me feel so at ease in her chair. By the end my hair looked Ah-​mazing and Leslie had won me over!
She gave me some really helpful tips about how to transition from relaxed to natural hair (she did this herself 15 years ago and hasn’t looked back) and how to keep my hair healthy and damage free.
Looking forward to the next time already, which hopefully won’t be 5 years from now!

I absolutely LOVE this salon! The prices are extremely affordable, $ 20 for a «Fresh Talent» stylist and $ 40 for more experience. Very friendly, quick and professional. I’ll definitely be going back!

I moved to Dallas about 2 years ago found the Michael Raymond Salon right down that street from my house and have been going steadily to the same girl ever since.
I’ve never walk out disappointed — go to Crystal… she is AMAZING! If you aren’t sure what you want or have an idea she can help you decide what will work for you…
On top of great service the salon is clean, they are always quick to offer you something to drink and get you in the chair (I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes.) Lastly the products smell great and are affordable.
If you are looking for a change — check this place out! You’ll get hooked.

Reliable haircuts and great smelling Aveda products in a sophisticated environment!
James does a great job on women’s hair, and he’s a super nice guy.
If you’re on a budget, you can consider «Manic Mondays» (and Thursdays) when you can get a new stylist to take care of you for $ 15. I haven’t been quite as happy with those cuts, but none have been bad, and geez, it’s $ 15!
