Mitchell’s Floor Covering Company specialize in the sales and/​or installation of carpet, hardwood, laminate, tile and vinyl to residential and commercial customers. We do free in-​home estimates, within a 20 mile radius, over 20 miles, a 25.00 service charge applies. We’ll move and replace your furniture and appliances, remove and haul off the old flooring, prep the floors if needed, remove and replace baseboards and quarter round, and install your new flooring in a timely and professional manner.

History

Established in 1965.

Mitchell’s Floor Covering Company, a locally-​owned and operated family business, was started in 195 by David and Corenia Mitchell. The Mitchells ran a very successful flooring installation business, out of the West Dallas community for many years. Mr. Mitchell passed away in 2011 and Mrs Mitchell retired, so the company is now being operated by their only son David #2 and his wife Rose as an online flooring company. Hello I’m Rose Mitchell and I am the online marketing manager for Mitchell’s Floor Covering Company. This company is a family owned and operated buiness started in 1965 by David & Corenia Mitchell. My husband, David #2 took over the business after his father passed away, and his mother retired. So as a tribute to his parents, and as a legacy to his children and grandchilren, he decided to continue running the company. He asked me to be the marketing manager and the first thing I did was get a website set up, so customer’s could view our work. I then created social media accounts and became subscribers to companies that provide leads to contractors such as ourselves. Currently, I am in the process of updating our information online, with all the different companies that track the status of businesses, so that our customers will be able to contact us through their searches, and continue to use us for all their flooring needs.
