Dr. Holland was most unimpressive when I took my cat in immediately upon their opening. Knew I was there upon opening and let me wait 45 min. She was vague and spent all of five min with me and my cat and the bill was ridiculous… twice that of other other vet clinics for several items such as shots and such a brief office visit after being left to wait. And I only went there due to proximity as I was so worried about my cat’s condition.
If I had known they would make me wait so long even tho I was the first person there right as their doors opened and then charge such high fees for such low quality care from Dr Holland (she didn’t sound like she knew what she was talking about, and certainly took no time to explain my pet’s condition, care or reason for shots specified etc), I would have done much better to have gone to Parker Animal and Bird Clinic.
Also, the office staff was condescending. One middle-​aged, female front desk personnel didn’t think twice about being a total smart ass to me. Another older female who sat at the desk for the animal boarding section of office was downright hostile on one occasion. Both nasty encounters were completely unprovoked as I was most kind and professional and only concerned for my cat. Dr Maxwell is great and made apologies for his staff, one of whom admitted to him they should not have talked to me in such a way.
But I am soured to this office completely now. And I would never recommend this office, despite Dr. Maxwell. An animal clinic is supposed to care for the animals and human clients in ALL respects, and uphold the most professional and caring behavior at all times, particularly when charging such premium prices.

I’ve been using North tollway pet hospital for the past 15 years with all of my pets. Dr Maxwell is an amazing Veterinarian. All the staff is absolutely amazing and i refer all of my clients to them.

Outstanding care for your pet. Dr. Maxwell and team are there for your pet’s welfare and comfort. I have been going to North Tollway for years and always feel reassured about my kids health after an appointment. Since my animals are my family I scrutinize the care they receive and have not left with unanswered questions. Would not go anywhere else.

Two week ago was my last time visiting this awesome place. The staff is extremely nice and super amazing. Doctor Maxwell is truly the nicest guy you could ever met. I’ve brought both my dogs here for the last 15 yrs.

We have been looking high &low for a cat groomer. Behold we found North Tollway Pet Hospital. They were friendly, easy to work with, clean facility & fair prices. We will be returning with Stewi for her grooming needs.

Wanted to pamper my baby and so I walked in with him and asked for rates. They gave me a decent number, then, saw him and gave an obscene figure after asking the breed. ($ 120 for bath and brush?!?) This is the dog I trust with my toddler wrestling on the floor with daily. How can you call yourselves animal lovers? Smh, all these little dogs I’ve seen in and out of there over the past 3 years I’ve lived in the area but they’re afraid of one gentle giant.
BREED DISCRIMINATION!
When my in laws bring their minpin and my parents bring their Weimaraner they refuse to take them to this place. Our dog is like another grandchild to them and it really P’d them off to hear this story. They live in small towns where there isn’t a groomer so their babies get pampered when they visit Dallas about 4x a year.

We have had all wonderful experiences except for the most recent. we took in a stray cat out of the snow took the cat there for first exam and was told cat was a girl! We waited a few days and had cat boarded there and made the decision to have cat fixed there along with declaw so cat was only put under once! We get a phone call after surgery told she was a he and already fixed after cutting open the cat! They tried to justify the mistake by saying it was smallest male part they have ever seen! We also got a huge bill because it was no longer a double surgery except for they did cut open the cat! This is beyond morals and have a problem that dr holland had to call someone else in to try and locate the uterus. They say cat was unruly but yet we were in the room for first visit were vet said it was a girl! The cat was scared but vet was able to look for scare from possible fixing previous to us! So if was the case and you were uncertain don’t you think you’d double check while cat was under for another surgery before playing anatomy class on a poor rescued animal! They have admitted fault by person at front desk telling us she was called in to locate a uterus on a male already fixed animal! The money isn’t the issue its the principle of not knowing basic anatomy of male and female on an animal! Doctor maxwell we love this was not the doctor responsible for this we are awaiting a phone call from him to report this huge mix up!

There is no better place for your pet than NTTA!!! I have been taking my furry friends to them for well over 20 years. Over the years they have cared for 3 dogs and 2 cats that have been in our family. The staff is just amazing. Always so friendly and helpful. Dr. Maxwell is the best Vet I’ve ever been to. My dogs love getting groomed there!!!

I was a bit behind on getting my puppy her shots, and wanted to get her nails clipped as well, and the staff were so caring and quick! We were in an out in about 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone with furry friends :)

I’ve taken 4 dogs and a chinchilla to the lovely people at North Tollway Pet Hospital for around 15 years now. They do everything from vet care, grooming and boarding for us. Dr. Maxwell was able to save my chinchilla’s life by amputating his leg. They are very caring!

I requested a puppy cut for my Maltese but they shaved his body. Said that he was «terribly matted». I was shocked and couldn’t recognized him. Looks like an alien. They should have called before doing this to him.

I’ve been bringing my dog Kodai here for over two years now. They always take such great care of him. Most animals hate going to get groomed. Not Kodai! He’s so excited to go he’s jumping for joy when he gets in the car. I can’t stress how important it is to have great people taking care of my son… er dog. They all know him, and love seeing him when we come in. Finding a good groomer is hard, but finding one within Walking distance is awesome!

GREAT VET! Been going here for 5 years, and i LOVE the staff here! My dog (who is normally a big scardy cat) — doesn’t even get nervous going here!

Dr. Maxwell is the best.
My 3 month old puppy had URI and Dr. Maxwell took great care of her. My pup was so sick that at one time I thought she wont be able to make it. She was coughing, and wheezing. She could not sleep at night and would not eat anything. Dr. Maxwell started her on cough medication and antibiotics… and after 3 days, we started a stronger course. He spent almost an hour with us the at the appointment and answered every single question I had.
Dr. Maxwell was considerate of my budget and respected my wishes during the course of treatment.
He called me to check on the puppy a few times; even on the day that he was going on vacation (to a volunteer trip to help animals in Brazil) he checked on us right before he left.
I am very appreciative of him and the staff. They are all amazing!!!
